Kings guard De’Aaron Fox broke the index finger on his shooting hand in the team’s loss to the Warriors on Sunday, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Sacramento star is expected to be listed as doubtful for Game 5 of the Kings-Warriors first-round series, which is tied 2-2. Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET in Sacramento.

A trip to Sunday’s New York Knicks-Clevland Cavaliers NBA playoff game at Madison Square Garden may have left new St. John’s basketball coach Rick Pitino in need of a new phone number.

Sacramento Kings star De’Aaron Fox fractured the tip of his left index finger during Game 4 of his team’s first round series against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. Fox will be listed as doubtful for Wednesday pivotal Game 5 with the series tied 2-2, but there’s reportedly still a chance he could play.
Fox has been spectacular in the series so far, averaging 31.
