PHOENIX — Odell Beckham Jr. fit in with the resort vibe of this NFL annual meeting at the Biltmore Hotel on Tuesday when he made the rounds of the hotel wearing a white cap, white t-shirt and green pants.
A resident of Arizona, who not only lives but trains here in the offseason, Beckham was at the hotel to “check in with some people,” he was overheard saying to a passer-by. And he did that, chatting with former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman among others.

The 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with one count of simple burglary.
Bryce Tilotta, a 19-year-old LSU student, has been arrested for one count of simple burglary for stealing multiple cases of beer from Tiger Stadium.
WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge reported Tilotta and a group of “college age males” stole several cases of beer at approximately 3 a.m. Sunday. The group of men were carrying the beer by hand when the police approached them and they fled the scene, according to arrest documents obtained by WBRZ.

Dan Snyder reportedly has received two massive bids from groups seeking to purchase the Washington franchise.
The Washington Commanders now have two historic bids seeking to acquire the NFL franchise, according to a Tuesday report from ESPN.
The Josh Harris/Mitchell Rales group, which includes former NBA great Magic Johnson, placed a formal bid that reportedly meets the desired $6 billion asking price sought by current Commanders owner Daniel Snyder.

The star wideout didn’t hold back, even on his own teammate.
The NFL adjusted its rules on jersey number restrictions ahead of the 2023 season, deciding Tuesday that players will be allowed to wear the No. 0 for the first time since 1973. 
Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley stepped up as the first to claim the number as his own, and now Dolphins star Tyreek Hill apparently is hoping that fellow Miami wideout Jaylen Waddle will be the next to follow suit.
Hill took to Twitter to troll his teammate about potentially swapping his jersey numbers with the No.

The Iowa guard used the WWE star’s signature gesture in the Hawkeyes’ latest win.
Iowa’s Caitlin Clark has been the star of the women’s NCAA tournament, highlighted by a 40-point triple-double on Sunday night against Louisville, the first of its kind in any NCAA tournament game. That stat line included eight three-pointers in 39 minutes of play, helping lead the Hawkeyes to a Final Four appearance.
The star guard obviously was feeling her success, as she celebrated her sixth three-pointer of the game with John Cena’s “you can’t see me” gesture.

Although the Detroit Lions had their first winning season in five years, they will pick sixth overall in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft after acquiring the Rams’ pick as part of the Matthew Stafford trade. They will also have the No. 18 pick, their own.
There are multiple positions at which Detroit could use an upgrade, but interior defensive line might be the most pressing issue that needs to be addressed. As things stand, the Lions have only Alim McNeill, Levi Onwuzurike and Demetrius Taylor under contract.

There are several players representing blue-blood programs, but it was a couple players outside of the top-ranked prospects who impressed scouts the most.

PHOENIX — NFL teams are having something of a numerals crisis now in that they have a bunch of players who want to wear single-digit numbers but there aren’t enough to go around. So the league on Tuesday addressed that by allowing players to wear No. 0 starting next season.
It’s one of 15 rules, bylaws and resolutions owners adopted Tuesday.
Oh, and before you ask, one change the league did not make was to the so-called quarterback push play.

Bronny James is 15 days away from his first opportunity to sign his National Letter of Intent and make his college decision official. The son of LeBron can sign at any date between April 12 and May 17.
James must announce his decision by May 17.
In the meantime, some of his prospective future teammates are hard at work to try and get him to join them. Especially Isaiah Collier.
