Team USA skiers representing the country at this month’s World Championships will be wearing climate change-themed suits. Instead of fans focusing on the actual sport, the Americans want viewers to think about climate change as they barrel down the side of a mountain.
Members of the USA ski and snowboard teams have partnered up with the nonprofit organization Protect Our Winters (POW) for the Kappa-branded suits. The Americans will wear the suits throughout the World Championships in France, which officially began on February 6.
At first glance, the suits look awesome.

LeBron James is a student of history, and it would only be right that he broke the record with a skyhook.
At age 38, most professional athletes are either retired or watching from the bench as their careers wind down. LeBron James, however, isn’t like most athletes. At age 38, LeBron is averaging 30 points (something he has only done two other times in his career), 8.5 rebounds(the most since 2018-19 and over 7 assists per game.
We all know, however, what the entire basketball world is focused on this week.
With retirement on the horizon, Peyton had one last shot at bragging rights
When the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots advanced to the 2016 AFC Championship, it was immediately obvious that the history books would need to be amended. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning had clashed 16 previous times, often in incredible fashion with stakes that couldn’t be higher between conference foes. Considering there’s a Super Bowl appearance on the line, this time looked to be no different.
Question have swirled about the star forward’s availability after Brooklyn traded Kyrie Irving to Dallas over the weekend.
Nets coach Jacque Vaughn said he would not try to “speculate” about the mindset of star forward Kevin Durant after Brooklyn traded away co-star Kyrie Irving to the Mavericks over the weekend.
Irving, who requested a trade from the Nets last Friday, was sent to Dallas alongside Markieff Morris in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith and three draft picks, including an unprotected first-rounder in 2029.
Darius Slay is definitely not a fan of Matt Patricia.
Patricia was Slay’s head coach on the Detroit Lions, and it’s not a secret their relationship was far from stellar. The talented CB was eventually traded to the Eagles in 2020 when it became clear he needed a change of scenery and Patricia was fired during the 2020 season.
The current Patriots staffer went 13-29-1 during his time leading the Lions. It was a terrible run, and Slay hasn’t exactly forgotten his opinion of Patricia.
Darius Slay and the Eagles will play the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
‘You hold on to some of those things,’ the Philadelphia coach told ESPN in an interview.
Around this time a decade ago, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni was just another assistant trying to make it in the NFL. The then-31-year-old had just put a bow on his first year as the Chiefs‘ wide receivers coach, during which Kansas City slumped to a 2–14 record.
The Chiefs responded by sacking coach Romeo Crennel and replacing him with Andy Reid, and Reid elected not to retain Sirianni—something that motivated Sirianni as he climbed the coaching ranks.
Nothing can prepare you for the dumbest moments from Super Bowl media day
Super Bowl media day is the most farcical date on the NFL calendar. Players and coaches are herded into the stadium, forced to sit at tiny elevated podiums, or walk around the floor while getting peppered with questions from all angles, often from outlets with questionable credibility.
The issue isn’t so much its construction, but that outside of known NFL reporters the league basically has absolutely no standards for who gets allowed in.
As underdogs, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are 7-1-1 against the spread, 6-3 straight up. Nick Wright looks at this week’s matchup and explores whether the Chiefs should be more concerned about their defense or their skill player matchups. Nick looks at the Patrick Mahomes’ injured ankle and the Chiefs injured receivers and explains they both need to perform well for the Chiefs to have a fighting chance in this matchup. Nick has confidence Mahomes’ ankle will be fine after his performance in the AFC Championship Game but has concerns for the wide receivers in this matchup.
