The champs have some big decisions to make.
A Chris Jones extension tops the list of offseason questions for the Super Bowl champion Chiefs. The 6’6″, 311-pound defensive tackle is as much of a force as he’s ever been and, with his 29th birthday still five months away, and his health not in question (he’s missed only six games in seven years as a pro), it’s fair to reason that he has plenty left in the tank. But how much will it be worth going forward? It’s a question the Chiefs are going to have to deal with the next few months.
Super Bowl LVII is a game to remember but one of its biggest moments was the flag on James Bradberry for holding JuJu Smith-Schuster that led to a game-winning field goal. Colin Cowherd explains why this was the ‘right call’ and emphasizes the importance of not making these mistakes.

The Lakers got busy this trade deadline season, but just how good did these deals make them actually?
Arguably no team was more active transactionally over the last few weeks than the Los Angeles Lakers. In total, they made three different deals that added six new players to their roster.
With so much turnover taking place, one can’t help but wonder if the most storied franchise in the history of the sport now has a chance to rewrite their season and give the game’s newly-anointed all-time leading scorer another chance at a deep playoff push.
The Kansas City Chiefs overcame a double-digit lead to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 for the franchise’s third Super Bowl win. Patrick Mahomes is the third player to win multiple MVP and Super Bowl MVP awards. He threw for 182 yards and three touchdowns, along with 44 rushing yards and no turnovers. However, one big story line on top of Mahomes’ performance was the Eagles defense, who struggled, especially in the second half. Colin Cowherd explains why the Super Bowl proved Philly’s defense was only ‘good against bad QBs.
On his way to winning Super Bowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes did something nobody’s ever done.
Super Bowl LVII is now in the rearview mirror, as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles, 38-35. The game did have what some would say was a ticky-tack holding call that sealed the win for the Chiefs, but it was still one heck of a game. Kansas City won outright as a one-point underdog, and the game went over the total of 51.
If we eliminate the two pushes and one pick ’em game in the first 56 Super Bowls, favorites are now 28-26 (52%) against the spread.
Just like every other NFL prospect in the history of the league, Patrick Mahomes had his believers and his doubters before the Kansas City Chiefs drafted him 10th overall in 2017. Jon ‘Stugotz’ Weiner, also known as Dan Le Batard’s No. 2, wasn’t just a doubter of Mahomes, he was a bonafide hater.
While plenty of people paid to talk about sports spewed spicy takes about the Texas Tech product, nobody’s take about Mahomes has aged worse than Stugotz’s.
