Canadiens goaltender Carey Price botched the announcement of the organization’s first-round pick during Wednesday’s NHL draft, seemingly forgetting the last name of the selection, David Reinbacher.
Price got halfway through announcing Montreal’s pick at No. 5 in the draft before he awkwardly struggled to recall Reinbacher’s name until GM Kent Hughes stepped in with an assist.
The unfortunate draft night moment made the rounds on social media, prompting Price to come forth and apologized to Reinbacher, making sure to write out his last name in full.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith took an unprovoked shot at Lakers guard Dennis Schroder on Wednesday, taking to Twitter to quote tweet a photo of Schroder.
The tweet Smith was responding to features two images of Schroder, one from his time with the Hawks, and one from this season in Los Angeles.
Smith, seemingly out of nowhere, took the opportunity to take a shot at Schroder over his hairline, while also having a laugh at his own expense in the process.
“Haaaaa! See……there are actually others worse than me!!!” wrote Smith on Twitter.

Tyreek Hill was caught smacking a man at the Haulover Marina in South Florida on Father’s Day, and new details have emerged on the incident from Miami-Dade Police Department records.
As reported by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, records showed that Hill offered the man he assaulted a paltry $200 to seemingly keep his mouth shut.
Two-hundred dollars … as the highest-paid wideout in the NFL, that’s a bit of a cheap hush-money offer.
Details around the situation revealed that Hill did not have access to a boat he attempted to board and was asked to leave by employees.

In the video, Curry is kicking back on the couch with his putter in hand and opens YouTube on his TV. He proceeded to search the highlights from the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss against the Buccaneers.

The Knights are technically still part of the American Athletic Conference, but in July, they’ll officially make the transition to power five football.
And UCF fans are clearly extremely excited to finally be part of a major conference.
The school’s official Twitter account announced on Wednesday that UCF had already sold out its home Big 12 Conference opener.

With spring turning to summer, football season is creeping ever closer. Writers and fans alike will soon issue predictions on everything from playoff teams to awards to the identity of the Super Bowl halftime performer.
At least one prognostication, however, has already been issued—by a player.

“I’ll win DPOY this year,” he wrote, to over 1,400 likes in under 20 minutes.
