Ahead of the playoffs, the Lakers are adding two notable names to their roster. ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reports Los Angeles is signing veteran center Tristan Thompson and guard Shaq Harrison prior to the end of the regular season on Sunday.
To clear the roster space, Los Angeles will reportedly waive guard Davon Reed.
Thompson, the former No. 4 overall pick, played with Lakers star LeBron James in Cleveland, including on all four NBA Finals teams and for the 2016 NBA champions. He last played for the Bulls, Kings and Pacers last season, averaging 6.0 points and 5.

Former. NBA superstar and current analyst Charles Barkley — who appears almost everywhere nowadays — has never been afraid to share his blunt opinion on an issue.
With the 2023 Masters underway, Barkley joined the Dan Patrick show on Friday morning as the tournament began.
Barkley thinks the PGA Tour golfers have gone so overboard in their criticism of LIV golfers, that he wants one of them to win the Masters.

Brooks Koepka caught another break on the 15th hole at The Masters during the conclusion of the third round on Sunday morning. It marked the second time in three days that he avoided a major penalty, just in very different fashions.
On Thursday, during the First Round, Koepka and his caddie appeared to assist Gary Woodland and his caddie with a club selection. The Masters Rules Committee ultimately decided not to issue a penalty after the round concluded.

As the NFL has entered a new era of elite quarterbacks, many people have differing opinions over who is the best in the league. For most people, Patrick Mahomes is No. 1, coming off an MVP and Super Bowl-winning season.
However, one former quarterback disagrees with that. Former Bengal Carson Palmer appeared on “The QB Room” podcast with his brother, Jordan, and said he believes that Joe Burrow has surpassed Mahomes as the top quarterback in the NFL.
“I know Patrick is phenomenal, but I just think Joe’s more consistent,” Palmer said.
