The Pac-12 Conference has been going through it recently.
Media rights are the single most important part of a conference’s financial strategy, and with just a few months remaining, the Pac-12 still doesn’t have an agreement.
That supposedly hasn’t bothered some of the conference’s signature programs. Oregon, for example, is reportedly more concerned about college football playoff opportunities than maximizing revenue.

With Lamar Jackson’s future with the Ravens still at a crossroads, the club is reportedly planning to factor in the uncertainty surrounding the star quarterback while evaluating possible selections for the 2023 NFL draft later this month.
During a Friday appearance on Get Up, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported the Ravens are in “full contingency mode at quarterback” and have their eye on the draft with Jackson still without an extension, or a finalized agreement on his non-exclusive franchise tag.

WWE issued an apology Friday after facing backlash in recent days for using an image of the Auschwitz concentration camp in a promo video for a match that took place during WrestleMania 39.
The pro wrestling promotion has been under fire since the startling inclusion of a photo of Auschwitz was discovered in a video hyping the Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio match after it aired on the Night 1 pre-show on April 1.

With the Celtics making their final push before the playoffs, they’ll hope everyone stays healthy as they try and reach the Finals for the second straight season. Unfortunately, Jaylen Brown was unable to do so, as he picked up an injury in a bizarre manner.
Boston ruled out Jaylen Brown for Friday’s game against the Raptors after he cut his right hand picking up a glass vase that he knocked over while watering his plants on Thursday night.
Brown received five stitches in between two fingers following the incident and will miss the Celtics’ final two games of the season.

Having to pause the sale of season tickets might be a bad thing for some schools, but for Iowa women’s basketball, it’s a fantastic situation.
Thanks to the Hawkeyes final four run and the emergence of superstar Caitlyn Clark, Iowa has put a hold on selling 2023-2024 season tickets. This comes after a record number of fans have requested to be put on the list for tickets next season.
The Iowa athletic department doesn’t have enough seats to fill all the new requests.
