UConn rolled Miami in the Final Four on Saturday night, defeating the Hurricanes in a wire-to-wire victory to earn a spot in the national championship game. The Huskies did so even though Jordan Hawkins, one of the team’s best players, was dealing with an illness.
After the game, Hawkins admitted that he believes he had food poisoning from a dinner earlier in the week while in Houston. The sophomore guard isn’t exactly sure what caused the illness, but he does have a hunch.

Caitlin Clark is a superstar. Iowa’s high-scoring, sharp-shooting, smack-talking guard has blossomed into a household name over the course of the last three years, but her popularity has skyrocketed throughout the 2023 Women’s NCAA Tournament.

The 60-year-old Basketball Hall of Famer might end up on a Lil Wayne track when it’s all said and done!
Mulkey, who left Baylor for Baton Rouge in April of 2021, won three national titles with the Bears, reached five Final Fours, and made the NCAA Tournament in all but one year. When she took over the Tigers, there was an expectation that she would succeed.
