Jaire Alexander might be $700,000 lighter in the wallet, but he doesn’t seem to care one bit.
The talented defensive back was due a $700,000 workout bonus this offseason as part of his four year, $84 million contract, but he forfeited when he didn’t show up for the voluntary workouts in April.
While the average American might panic over losing $700,000, Alexander isn’t sweating it at all.

Just six years into the franchise’s existence, the Golden Knights routed the Panthers 9–3 in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals to capture the organization’s first-ever championship.
After grabbing an early 2–0 advantage in Game 5, Vegas never looked back. Even after Florida cut the lead to 2–1, the Golden Knights scored four straight goals to take a 6–1 lead into the 3rd period to cruise to a title.
The Golden Knights fans were partying all night, including collectively singing a beautiful rendition of “My Own Worst Enemy” a 1999 hit by the band Lit.

The drivable par-4 6th hole at the Los Angeles Country Club is unlike any other hole in professional golf.
It measures just 330 yards on the scorecard, but the par-4 6th at the Los Angeles Country Club may prove as the trickiest hole during the 2023 U.S. Open.
From the tee, players have no visual of the green but are immediately given a choice: to go for the green or to lay up.

Cantlay felt blindsided by the news and understands why Rahm and other players feel frustrated and betrayed.
Many high-profile golfers, including Jon Rahm, have expressed frustration and feel betrayed following the PGA Tour’s bombshell announcement that it had partnered with the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF).
Of the many trends generated by the 2023 season, from the inane to the goofy, this one might be the most puzzling: Mike Trout sees more fastballs than any hitter in baseball. And he’s doing little with them.
Trout’s Angels reached a season-high six games over .500 with a stirring comeback win against the first-place Rangers on Monday. Shohei Ohtani gained the AL home run lead with numbers 19 and 20. The bullpen has been superb. And yet Trout is mired in one of the longest and strangest slumps of his great career. Pitchers are getting him out the same way over and over.
One would assume that the reigning U.S. Open champion and No. 8 ranked player in the world would know something about the PGA Tour – LIV Golf merger, but that isn’t the case whatsoever. Matthew Fitzpatrick, just like everyone else, doesn’t have a clue what is happening the world of professional golf at the moment.
The Rangers host the Angels for the third of a four-game series Wednesday night at Globe Life Field, and just like on Monday we are looking at the over.
When we cashed the over on Monday, the total reached 16 in extra innings. We felt the over was the call because of how strong the Rangers are vs. lefthanded pitching. Well, guess what? There’s another lefty on the bump for the Angels tonight – Reid Detmers.
Detmers has a 4.79 ERA this season, and his hard-hit and average exit velocity allowed are in the bottom 23% of the league.
With striker Karim Benzema out the door and several midfielders past their prime, the next wave of talent at Spanish giant Real Madrid is here.
The club announced the signing of 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham on a six-year deal, ending a transfer saga that saw interest from other clubs around Europe, namely Liverpool and Manchester City. The €103 million ($111 million) transfer fee is the second-highest the club has ever paid for a player, behind only the purchase of Eden Hazard in 2019.
The US Open begins Thursday with all the best golfers in the world converging on Los Angeles Country Club. In addition to the players, caddies need to be on their games in order to help their golfers be successful. Geno Bonnalie, Joel Dahmen’s caddie who gained fame on Netflix’s Full Swing documentary, spoke to OutKick about preparing for the tournament.
Bonnalie explained that for a regular week on Tour, he generally travels to the site Monday and examines the course Tuesday. But for this week, he left a day early.
