As the XFL wraps up its seventh week of its 10-game regular season schedule in 2023, the Las Vegas Vipers have played their final home game. It likely marks the end of the worst field in the league.
Poor one out.
The XFL was able to secure legitimate playing fields for the majority of their teams. Except for the Vipers.

The day goes from bad to worse for Ferrari in Melbourne
Ahead of the Australian Grand Prix, the mood around Ferrari was rather positive, despite the difficult start to their 2023 Formula 1 season. Prior to qualifying, reserve driver Robert Shwartzman was part of the coverage on F1TV, and he described the feeling around the team as “very good.”
That is certainly not the case following the Grand Prix itself.

Trayce Thompson stole the show in Los Angeles on Saturday night, crushing three homers in the Dodgers’ 10–1 win over the Diamondbacks. The outfielder accumulated eight RBIs, more than double of what any other player had in the game.
In the process, Thompson also accomplished a feat that seems almost impossible. The 32-year-old’s three home runs had the exact same exit velocity: 107.5 mph.
According to MLB.com’s Sarah Langs, it it is the first time since Statcast began tracking exit velocity that a player’s home runs had the same exit velocity in one game.

All of the chatter leading up to the Final Four was about how the last four teams standing were not up to the “caliber” of years past. There was a lot of resentment toward the first-ever NCAA Tournament that didn’t include a No. 1, 2 or 3 seed in either national semifinal game.
Both games ended up delivering a great product, with San Diego State’s buzzer-beater delivering a tremendous reaction of sadness from the FAU faithful.

We’ve all been there, Jordan Hawkins… Perhaps this will serve as a life lesson for the future.
Hawkins, a former four-star recruit, is the second-leading scorer for UConn basketball in 2022/23. The 6-foot-5 sophomore guard dropped 13 points in 25 minutes during Saturday’s Final Four win over Miami, but almost didn’t play at all.

Hawkins was dealing with stomach issues leading up to the biggest game of his career thus far.

Providence College has suspended Alyn Breed after city police charged the guard with multiple offenses in connection to an off-campus domestic incident, the school announced Saturday night.
According to The Providence Journal, Providence police announced that Breed was charged with “numerous firearm offenses” along with domestic charges, including unlawful entry, vandalism and robbery.

WrestleMania 39 opened with a very entertaining first night.
All eyes remain on night two, but there were plenty of highlights from the Saturday show, including Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens winning the WWE tag team titles.
Rhea Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair in a hard-hitting clash, and Seth Rollins brought the absolute best out of Logan Paul.
The night was not perfect. An easy opening match was complicated when JohnCena lost to Austin Theory. That match featured a deflating, overused finish, especially disappointing considering that Cena rarely wrestles.

Things get pretty intense in college baseball, and Saturday’s Alabama vs. Arkansas game was another example.
After Alabama took the first game of the series in Fayetteville against the Razorbacks, the Tide were looking to win the series on Saturday. Arkansas homered three different times, leading to the 9-6 win at Baum-Walker Stadium.
But it was during the seventh inning where things got heated. Alabama coach Brad Bohannon was ejected from the game after arguing with the home-plate umpire.
