It’s still the NFL offseason, but Miami’s Tyreek Hill may need to be checked for a concussion.
The lightning-fast receiver spent his Thursday pumping up those around him, but one comment in particular suggests he’s not thinking clearly.
Tua’s head-scratching comment was in reference to Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa. As Tyreek Hill sees it, Tua’s one of the NFL’s best signal callers and particularly good at dropping dimes. The receiver said as much while stating that his goal this season is to surpass 2,000 receiving yards.
“I feel like I got the right tools around me.

Iga Swiatek is on the cusp of a repeat win in Paris
Top-seeded Iga Swiatek is on the cusp of a repeat victory in Paris, and her third French Open final.
Standing in her way is Karolina Muchova, her frequent practice partner.
Muchova survived a marathon semi-final match against second-seeded Aryna Sabalenka, winning 7-6(5), 6-7(5), 7-5 to advance to her first-ever Grand Slam final. Her previous best performance in a Grand Slam came back in 2021, when she reached the semi-final of the Australian Open before losing to Elise Mertens.

Free agent DeAndre Hopkins is expected to visit the Patriots next week, his second set visit after the Cardinals released him, ESPN’s Ian Rapoport reports.
After an offseason of trade rumors, Arizona couldn’t find a trade partner and chose to cut Hopkins last month instead. The wide receiver spent the last three years with the Cardinals after a seven-year stint with the Texans.
The Patriots interest in Hopkins is notable, mostly because New England’s offensive coordinator is Bill O’Brien, the former Houston head coach.

NCAA Super Regionals begin this weekend and Southern Miss is pulling out all the stops in terms of preparing for battle against Tennessee, including a priest blessing the baseball stadium.
The conversation of who would host the series was made on Tuesday, as both Tennessee and Southern Miss felt they should be the home team. In the end, Southern Miss did enough for the NCAA committee to be chosen as the NCAA Super Regional hosts.

Deion Sanders did not waste any time in utilizing the transfer portal when he was named Colorado‘s football coach in December.
Since his arrival in Boulder, more than 50 Colorado players entered the transfer portal as the Pro Football Hall of Famer looked to bring in the best players to aid in the program’s massive rebuild. But in doing so, Sanders annoyed several people around the college football landscape that include Pittsburgh football coach Pat Narduzzi, who said in May that Sanders was abusing the transfer portal.

Last week we told you to pick up Elly De La Cruz, and he did not disappoint! The 6’5” rookie has made his presence known with a .364 batting average and 1.371 OPS through his first three major-league games — including a monster 485-foot jack on Wednesday night and a stolen base on Thursday.
In case you missed it, here is that home run in all its glory:

Oh, and we bet on it, too.

It’s Friday, and that means it’s time to go big! Let’s back the Reds as underdogs tonight at +155, because they are red hot.
The Reds travel to St. Louis to face the division-rival Cardinals for tonight’s contest. Cincinnati is five games out of first place in the division, while the Cardinals are eight games removed. Both teams will be trying to make up ground on the first-place Brewers.
After a hot streak in May, the Cardinals have cooled off considerably, mustering only 2.

The Nuggets and Heat facing off in the NBA Finals illustrates perfectly the impact of shrewd drafting. Denver landing Nikola Jokić with the 41st pick in 2014 was franchise-changing and arguably one of the best draft picks in the sport’s history, but each team found multiple gems later in the lottery, or even further down the draft board, to help get them to this point.
This year’s draft has plenty of star power at the top, headlined by a transcendent talent in Victor Wembanyama widely expected to go No. 1.

Welcome to 32 teams in 32 days. To get us through the offseason, we’ll be taking a closer look at every team in the league, in order of projected 2023 win totals. Up next: the Texans.
If the Texans become a winning organization anytime in the foreseeable future, they might point to the 2023 offseason as the start of the turnaround after adding several potential building blocks, including hiring coach DeMeco Ryans.
