NBA fans are warming to the idea of someone scoring 100 points, and the Portland guard may be the player to make it happen.
For most of NBA history a team scoring at least 100 points was a good night. There was a stretch of 13 years from the mid-90s to the early 2000s where the entire league averaged under 100 points. But things feel different now.
Just over 61 years ago Wilt Chamberlain had the most impressive scoring night in NBA history, scoring 100 points.
In just the last few months two NBA players scored 71 points in a game.

As Ohio State opened spring ball on Monday, what is expected to be a six-month quarterback battle began. Kyle McCord and Devin Brown will fight for the starting job throughout spring practice and fall camp, but the latter looks different than he did last season.
Brown, a former five-star recruit in the class of 2022, was rocking a new number that will take some getting used to. The No. 15 jersey he wore last season is no longer.
Instead, Brown will be throwing it way back to the 1930s.

Mexico’s president vowed Tuesday not to back down in a dispute with the United States over a potential ban on imports of genetically modified corn. The U.S. Trade Representative’s office announced Monday it had called for consultations with Mexico over proposed rules that would ban GM corn for human consumption. Mexico has said it could eventually ban it for animal feed as well.

A French company has won the contract for post-Brexit border checks, in a blow to hopes that domestic businesses would be prioritised in public procurement.

Ohio State football began its spring practice on Tuesday and fans are already panicked. Video from the morning showed star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. returning punts, which was not what Buckeyes fans had hoped to see.
Harrison, a junior, is set to be one of the top pass-catchers – if not the top pass-catcher — selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. Harrison Jr., the son of a Pro Football Hall of Famer, is an absolute freak.
Not only does Harrison stand 6-foot-4, 205 pounds, he runs a 4.6ish 40-yard dash and has a catch radius that is simply unmatched on the collegiate level.

The eight-time Pro Bowler addressed the possibility of returning to the league.
The NFL combine brought with it a multitude of eye-opening rumors. Among them, NFL Network’s Rich Eisen claimed he’d heard inklings that former Colts and Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers had been angling to make a comeback.
Rivers, who retired in 2020 and is now a high school coach in Alabama, denied those rumors on Tuesday, via AL.com. 
While Rivers admitted he had “heard from a couple teams,” he indicated that an NFL comeback was never truly on the cards.

In October 2022, the NFL announced that it would be taking over the biggest shopping day of the year: Black Friday. The contest will be the first NFL Black Friday game and will take place Nov. 24 with an expected kickoff of 3 p.m. ET.
OutKick’s Armando Salguero reported last fall that the game would be streamed on Amazon Prime, and Tuesday the streaming giant confirmed the news, but with an added detail.
The Black Friday game will be available for free on Prime Video. NFL fans won’t have to subscribe to Amazon Prime to watch the big game the day after Thanksgiving.
