Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was disappointed to lose Pro Bowl offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. in free agency to the conference rival Bengals.
Brown, who played under the franchise tag last season, reached a four-year deal with Cincinnati worth $64 million, including $31 million guaranteed.

In a night that was all Boston, winning 140-99, the story of the night also involved Giannis Antetokounmpo’s older brother, Thanasis, and the Celtics’ Blake Griffin.
With Griffin and Thanasis Antetokounmpo in the game during garbage time, the two got tangled up under the basket after Blake delivered a hard foul on Thanasis.

There is no such thing as an undercard when you’re the one in the ring, and if you think Angel Reese is just a warmup act for Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston … well, you tell her. Reese is the “other” first-team All-American still playing in the NCAA tournament, an LSU rebounding machine who could dominate any Final Four—including this one.
In four NCAA tournament games, Reese has averaged 22.25 points and 17.25 rebounds. She has grabbed a rebound almost every other minute.

Opposing fans used to feel sorry for FAU, which years ago used to drive a leaky mini-bus to away games. Saturday, the Owls play in the national semis.

Red Bull’s strong start, and their gap over the field, has surprised even Christian Horner
Through the first two races of the 2023 Formula 1 season, Red Bull has been head and shoulders above the field. The team was dominant during pre-season testing in Bahrain, followed that up with a front-row lockout during qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix and a one-two finish in the race itself, and then backed that up with another one-two finish in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Blake Griffin was on the receiving end of Thanasis Antetokounmpo’s frustration Thursday night in Milwaukee, but Celtics teammate Jaylen Brown came to his support.

The Angels kicked off their 2023 season by looking very much like the Angels—they had Shohei Ohtani pitch six scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts and then once he was done on the mound they gave up a pair of runs and lost to the A’s, 2–1. 
The Angels have two of the best players in the world in Ohtani and Mike Trout yet somehow struggle to be relevant past the first month of the season. 
The team, however, did have the coolest play of maybe the year on Thursday when right fielder Hunter Renfroe made an incredible no-look catch on a hard hit ball.
