The Boston Bruins made NHL history in the regular season, but will be watching the rest of the playoffs from home
The Boston Bruins were the best team during the NHL regular season. They won 65 games, the most in regular season history. They tallied 135 points on the season, also a record. Their efforts secured the Presidents’ Trophy, given to the team that finishes with the most points in the regular season. Boston clinched a playoff spot back on March 12, over a month before the season ended.

Of the four quarterbacks who were selected in the first round of the 2020 draft, three have already had their fifth-year options picked up by their respective teams.

F1 is back in the United States for the Miami Grand Prix
Formula One is stateside this week, as the circuit heads to South Beach for the second Miami Grand Prix. This is the first of three races in the United States this season, building to the highly-anticipated inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix in November.

Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi will be featured in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 2023 issue. 
Lakshmi, who began her modeling career in college, had a daylong shoot in Dominica with photographer Yu Tsai to capture her dazzling debut. Becoming an SI Swimsuit model is yet another accomplishment Lakshmi can add to her growing list of accolades.

The ESPN Sunday Night Baseball broadcast has been putting mics on players and interviewing them live during games, which is not only a fun way for viewers to get more into the game—but it can also lead to some pretty funny moments. 
That happened in the Philadelphia-Houston game Sunday night when Phillies left fielder Kyle Schwarber was talking with the booth during the bottom of the second inning. A fly ball was hit Schwarber’s way while he was chatting, and he tried to make a play on it but things did not go well at all.

The Miz is constantly unveiling new layers.
Two weeks ago, he wrestled an outstanding match against Seth Rollins on Raw. It was the caliber of match expected from Rollins, yet Miz was every bit his equal. It was an important performance from the 18-year industry veteran, highlighting that he can play many roles in WWE, including setting a high standard in between the ropes.
The match was less of a revelation and more of a reminder of Miz’s skill level.

Draymond Green wasted no time recording his podcast after the Warriors’ 120–100 win over the Kings in Game 7 of their first-round playoff series and took the opportunity to call out Sacramento forward Domantas Sabonis for not shaking hands after the game. 
“Lost a lot of respect for Sabonis,” Green said on The Draymond Green Show. “You don’t shake guys’ hands after you lose, I don’t respect that.

Payton Thorne’s time with Michigan State has come to an end.
The veteran college QB entered the transfer portal Sunday, according to multiple reports. It was the final day for non-graduate transfers to get in the portal. The decision to transfer comes after a QB battle against Noah Kim and Katin Houser. Clearly, Thorne didn’t like his chances, despite being the starter. Thorne has two years of eligibility remaining.r
Star receiver Keon Coleman also hit the portal. It was a tough day for the roster in East Lansing.

The Carolina Panthers drafting Bryce Young with the first-overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft sent an obvious message to its fanbase and those already in the organization: Young is the quarterback of the present and future and Matt Corral is not.
The Panthers drafted Corral in the third round of last year’s NFL Draft. While the former Ole Miss quarterback didn’t play a snap last season after suffering a Lisfranc injury, it’s no secret he’ll be the No. 2 QB in Carolina, at best, moving forward.
Corral doesn’t seem to appreciate that new reality.
