The Cardinals released star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins after failing to find a trade partner for the veteran, the team announced Friday.
With the release of Hopkins, who spent three seasons with the team, the Cardinals will absorb a dead cap hit of $22.6 million next season. He will not be designated as a June 1 cut, which would’ve allowed Arizona to delay some of the cap impact to 2024, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.

After electing not to tee it up in last week’s PGA Championship at Oak Hill, John Daly decided to give it a go at this week’s Senior PGA Championship but only managed to play 13 holes before withdrawing.
A few hours after withdrawing from the second senior major championship of the year, Daly took to Twitter and addressed the condition of some of the tee boxes at Fields Ranch East in Texas.

Remember the name Elly De La Cruz.

The 6-time major winner and Golf Channel analysts traded blows once again on Twitter with a twist.

A lot of NFL players are not happy about the new kickoff rule. And you can add Jason and Travis Kelce to that list.
In 2023, the league will implement a one-year trial where kick returners can call for a fair catch anywhere inside their team’s 25-yard-line and it will result in a touchback. The ball will be placed at the 25-yard-line as opposed to the 20-yard-line.
And on their “New Heights” podcast Thursday, the Kelce brothers made clear what they think about the amendment.
“I think this is absolutely stupid,” Travis said.
