The NBA’s draft combine week got underway over the weekend with the G League Elite Camp, where NBA personnel evaluated 45 prospects on the fringes of the NBA radar hoping to work their way into draft pick consideration. In 2022, two Elite Camp participants went on to get drafted, though most players at the event are angling for two-way contract consideration (particularly given the NBA is adding a third two-way contract slot for the 2023–24 season).
After two days of athletic testing, drills and five-on-five action, here are some notes on what stood out most from the event.

The NFL and NBC announced on Monday that NBC will broadcast a playoff game this season on Wild Card Saturday exclusively on its streaming service, Peacock, marking the first time a playoff game doesn’t appear on a television network.
On Wild Card weekend, NBC will get two games on Saturday, Jan. 13, with the 4:30 game airing on NBC and Peacock followed by the Peacock-exclusive game in primetime. Both NBC and Peacock will then get a third game on Sunday night, becoming the first network to air three playoff games in one weekend.

It might be the end of the road for Randy Orton.
Orton is a 10-time WWE champion and a four-time world heavyweight champion. He is The Legend Killer. The Viper.
But after suffering a back injury in a tag-team match last year, the WWE legend might be forced into retirement.

The NBA announced Monday its decision to rescind Celtics guard Jaylen Brown’s technical foul issued by referee Scott Foster. 
Brown was initially given the foul in the second quarter of Boston’s Game 7 against the 76ers on Sunday. 
“Jaylen Brown’s (BOS) technical foul (6:50, 2nd qtr) from the game on 5/14/23 has been rescinded upon league office review,” wrote the NBA in an announcement on Monday. 
The 26-year-old received the foul after an incident near Philadelphia’s bench involving Sixers guard Georges Niang.

The Minnesota Vikings are looking to trade Dalvin Cook — but not to just anyone.
