Dodger Stadium is one of the oldest stadiums in Major League Baseball, having opened in 1962.
The stadium’s had numerous upgrades over the years, including several for the 2022 All-Star Game.
Before the 2023 season, the Los Angeles Dodgers proudly unveiled more stadium upgrades. Most importantly, a brand new lighting system.
The team replaced their outdated system with a brand new LED setup, which can be adjusted on the fly. Colors can be changed, and the system can be turned off and on instantly.

For all the fire and passion, for all the noise and fury, for all that it has played brilliantly at times this season, there was a curious quiescence about Napoli as it went out of the Champions League against AC Milan. Stefano Pioli’s side defended diligently, and, although it eventually conceded in stoppage time, advanced to the semifinals by a 2–1 aggregate. After all the drama we’ve become used to at this stage of the competition, all the great comebacks, this was a very old-fashioned style of tie won by old-fashioned virtues.

Ja Morant’s shooting hand (*wink, wink*) is in bad shape ahead of Wednesday’s Game 2 after harshly falling on it on Sunday.
Morant went down hard on his already-bandaged right hand in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Game 1 against the Lakers. And based on Moran’ts status, as of Tuesday (Apr. 18), the Grizzlies star is in real danger of missing the pivotal Game 2 with Memphis down in the series (0-1).

Warriors forward Draymond Green left his footprint on Golden State’s loss to the Kings on Monday night in an extremely literal sense.
Midway through the fourth quarter of Game 2 of the teams’ first-round playoff series, Green became entangled with Sacramento forward Domantas Sabonis. Sabonis appeared to grab Green’s ankle, and Green responded by stepping on Sabonis’s chest.
Green was whistled for a technical foul and eventually ejected, and he animatedly taunted the Kings’ crowd on his way off the court.

As Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins continues to be included in trade rumor discussions, the five-time Pro Bowler apparently has been talking talking with Bills linebacker Von Miller.
The Buffalo star claimed that he’s been speaking with Hopkins and that the wide receiver admitted he would like to end up with the Bills.
“I talk to Hop all the time and it’s kind of like the same thing with OBJ,” Miller said, via the Buffalo News. “You just never know until you know.

The Clippers don’t figure to be sharing a home with the Lakers for much longer, as they have plans to relocate to nearby Inglewood and play in a new stadium, the Inuit Dome.
The plan is for the organization to leave Los Angeles and Crypto.com Arena ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season, when its new stadium is expected to open.
With so much change coming for the franchise, owner Steve Ballmer addressed what the organization will do with its name.

DeAndre Hopkins has not said a single word about his future, or whether he might want to play for another team. And yet, he’s said it all. As has Von Miller.
Hopkins, a three-time First Team All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler, is one of the best pass-catchers in the NFL. He is also one of the most talked about players in regard to being traded this offseason.
Although he has not been dealt yet, and there is no indication that he will, Hopkins seems to have a preferred destination.
The 30-year-old receiver broke it down during a recent conversation with the All Things Covered podcast.

We all know the feeling. You buy that expensive piece of workout equipment because “this time it’s gonna work.” Then you use it for a few weeks, maybe a few months. Eventually, it becomes a really expensive clothes hanger. Then you sell it for whatever you can get. That pretty much sums up Allen Robinson’s tenure with the Los Angeles Rams.
The Rams signed Robinson last offseason to a three-year deal worth $15 million per season. On Tuesday, they traded him to the Pittsburgh Steelers for almost nothing.
