Teasing a splash trade all year, the Los Angeles Lakers have finally made a move. Though not the one fans had expected, nay, asked for.
On Monday, ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne announced that the Lakers are finalizing a deal to acquire Washington Wizards forward Rui Hacimura for shooting guard Kendrick Nunn and three second-round picks.

Is Hachimura The ‘Rui’ Deal For The Lakers?
The 4-for-1 swap will go all in on the 6-foot-8 Hachimura, who will head into the offseason as a restricted free agent.

The Lakers star weighed in on his son’s college recruitment.
Bronny James’s college recruitment is wrapping up, as the senior has reportedly narrowed down his choices to Ohio State, USC and Oregon. While those three teams are Bronny’s reported finalists—and the senior confirmed them as options—not each program has extended him an offer. However, LeBron James isn’t worried about that.
On Sunday night, James told Bill Oram of The Oregonian that his son will be able to attend his top choice next season.
“I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to,” he said.

Frankie Muniz is ready to start his engine and pursue his dream of a professional stock-car racing championship and will get to do that officially starting in February at Daytona International Speedway.
Muniz, the former child actor who starred in “Malcolm in the Middle,” “Big Fat Liar” and “Agent Cody Banks,” announced in January he would be racing in the ARCA Menards Series full-time starting this year, beginning with the Daytona race on Feb. 18. He will be competing in the No. 30 Ford Mustang for Rette Jones Racing.

News recently emerged that Formula 1 nearly had a new owner, and — surprise! — it was Saudi Arabia who tried to buy the series.
As it stands, Formula 1 is owned by Liberty Media, which also has ownership stakes in SiriusXM satellite radio and the Atlanta braves. Liberty bought the series in 2016 for $4.4 billion.
According to Bloomberg, Liberty Media turned down a £16 billion (just shy of $20 billion) offer from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.

Following Divisional Round exits, the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars need to figure out what went wrong and what’s next.
Luckily for them, they don’t have to think too hard. I’m here to think for them! They’ll thank me later.

Following another poor playoff performance, Dak Prescott is rightfully under the microscope. However, the Cowboys can’t realistically move on from him — because of his contract — until after next season.

Plus, the Celtics got their revenge.
There was some movement near the top of the league last week, but the Celtics maintained their hold on the NBA’s best record and got their revenge on the Warriors in a Finals rematch as well.
The Nuggets and Grizzlies both saw their lengthy winning streaks come to an end and the 76ers inched up in the East after completing their five-game road trip without a loss. The Heat rose, the Knicks slid and the Thunder are on the verge of a .500 record and a play-in spot.
