Matthew McConaughey wasn’t impressed by Texas fans trashing the field against Georgia.
Texas students rained trash down on the field after a horrific pass interference call negated a much-needed interception against the Bulldogs.
Bottles rained down from the student section, and the game had to be temporarily paused in order to clean everything up. To make the situation even weirder, the refs decided to pick up the flag and let Texas keep the ball.
It was one of the strangest situations we’ve seen unfold in college football in a long time.

Alabama offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan made a very strange comment when reacting to a now-viral moment from the Tennessee game.
The Alabama Crimson Tide lost on the road to the Volunteers this past weekend, and fans are in an open state of revolt after a 5-2 start.
It’s not just that the Crimson Tide have lost to Vanderbilt and Tennessee. It’s the fact the team appears incredibly undisciplined.
There are bonehead penalties and what appears to be a lack of effort and attention.

On Monday night, the Los Angeles Chargers felt ‘robbed’ by a late unnecessary roughness penalty against the Arizona Cardinals, which ultimately cost them more than 15 yards.
Arizona’s 17-15 win against the Bolts came down to a go-ahead, 32-yard field goal by Chad Ryland as time expired. Before the game-winning boot, the Chargers were called for an ‘egregious’ unnecessary roughness penalty, which turned a potential Cardinals third-and-long into a fresh set of downs, and kept the drive running for the Cardinals to snatch the win.

Wisconsin running back Tawee Walker is flying under the radar, but has been putting up huge numbers over the past few weeks.
The Badgers are currently sitting at 5-2 going into a Saturday night game against third-ranked Penn State. The team got off to a very sluggish 2-2 start. That start included a blowout loss to Alabama and a blown opportunity against USC.
Then things slowly started to change. Running back Chez Mellusi stepped away from the team to deal with his injuries, Braedyn Locke started to get in a groove as QB1 after Tyler Van Dyke suffered a season-ending injury…..

Losing to the Baltimore Ravens, 41-31, wasn’t the biggest blow to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The most crushing news was losing their two top receivers, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, to injury. But in Godwin’s case, his injury is expected to end what has so far been a strong campaign, and seemingly for no good reason.
Godwin was carted off with 43 seconds remaining in the Monday night primetime game — with the Bucs trailing by 10 points — after a tackle left him unable to move on the field.
The footage of Godwin’s injury was hard to watch.

Detroit Lions receiver and former first-round pick Jameson Williams was issued a two-game suspension by the NFL on Monday after violating the league’s guidelines on “performance-enhancing substances.”
Williams received a suspension last season, sitting out four games (reduced from six), after violating the league’s gambling rules amid a flurry of bans handed down during the NFL’s crackdown on betting.
