It got chippy in the third quarter between Cleveland and Memphis
Things got a little chippy midway through the third quarter in Thursday night’s game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Memphis Grizzlies.
Okay, maybe very chippy.
With under six minutes remaining in the third quarter, Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks drove the lane and got to the rim, but his contested layup was well off target. As both Brooks and the basketball crashed to the floor, the Memphis forward got tangled up with Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell.

A heated matchup is brewing between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night. Points are flowing, and the basketballs are flying.
Tangled in the matchup were Cavs All-Star Donovan Mitchell and Memphis’ Dillon Brooks — at the center of a bench-clearing fight in the third quarter of the marquee matchup.
Things went south when Brooks drove into the paint and was fouled by Evan Mobley. As Brooks went down on the play, he swung at Donovan Mitchell, hitting him below the belt and prompting Mitchell to throw a basketball at Brooks before the two started clinching.
There is plenty to be debated about the final rosters, with some big names not making the cut.

There were plenty of viral worthy moments during day one of the 2023 NFL Pro Bowl Games on Thursday night in Las Vegas.
Thursday’s four events consisted of precision passing, the lightning round, longest drive and dodgeball. Additionally, four players participated in a “best catch” competition.
Most of the biggest highlights of the night came during the dodgeball match. The offenses and defenses of each conference faced each other before one team from the AFC and NFC faced each other for the final game.

Jefferson had the highlight reel of the season but what about the Pro Bowl Games?
The first night of the NFL’s Pro Bowl Games is in the books with the AFC leading the NFC 9-3 after victories in precisions passing, longest drive and lightning round (including a water balloon toss). The NFC’s lone victory came in dodgeball, the main event of the night.
Throughout the night, we saw the four competitors for the “Best Catch” competition of the Pro Bowl Games.
