And the Timberwolves, who had the highest-scoring team average a season ago at 115.9 points per game, would rank 10th this season, well behind the league-leading Kings, who score close to 120 on average.

He returns to Denver a few years after being fired by the team.
The Broncos are reportedly hiring their former head coach Vance Joseph as defensive coordinator, according to Good Morning Football‘s Peter Schrager.
Joseph returns to Denver after serving as the Broncos head coach from 2017 to ’18. He most recently served as the defensive coordinator of the Cardinals. In his previous stint in the Mile High City, Joseph went 11–21 in two seasons and was fired after the ’18 season.

He hasn’t played since Feb. 14 after returning home to Russia.
Capitals coach Peter Laviolette announced Thursday that Alex Ovechkin will play on Thursday for the first time since going home to Russia after the death of his father, Mikhail Ovechkin. He last played on Feb. 14. 
The Capitals have gone 0–4 since Ovechkin left, including a blowout loss to the Hurricanes at the Stadium Series game. The winger leads his team in points with 54 on the season and they sorely need him back as they try to maintain their footing with a 28-25-6 record.
