Kansas City received more clarity on two key offensive contributors ahead of the Super Bowl.
The Chiefs announced they have activated running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire from injured reserve and placed wide receiver Mecole Hardman on IR in a corresponding move ahead of Super Bowl LVII.
Edwards-Helaire has been out since late November with a high ankle sprain, but he was a big contributor to the team in the first half of the season. In 10 games before suffering the injury, the tailback totaled 302 rushing yards and 151 receiving yards with six total touchdowns.
Female surfer Bethany Hamilton made news on Sunday when she announced she will no longer compete in the World Surf League. The WSL passed a rule allowing biological men who identify as female to compete in the women’s division.
Hamilton noted that many women in the league are against the policy, but afraid to speak out. She says that she cannot just stand by and allow this unfair policy to destroy her sport.
