The 2024 World Series is expected to be one of the most evenly matched of any in recent memory. The Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees have star power, depth, and quality pitching. In a series this close, both teams are looking for any possible advantage. Like, for example, being able to use one of baseball’s best hitters as a pitcher too.

Indiana Fever star and reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark spent most of her debut season absolutely blowing minds on the court, but why wait until next season to do it again?
After an early playoff exit for the Fever, Clark took some time off, per Sports Illustrated, but she has been back on the court recently.
Clark got a workout in on a practice court in the Fever’s home arena, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and she did something that I would be confident in saying that court has never seen before.

Of course, some big names like Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid are shoo-ins to make the Team Canada roster, but then the question turns to who will serve as the team’s captain.

Thursday Night’s game between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams ended in a win for Los Angeles in part because of a missed call on an obvious face mask. Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold was tackled in the end zone, pulled down by his face mask, and despite an official seemingly staring directly at the play, it was ruled a game-ending safety.

It doesn’t get much worse than that in terms of missed penalties.
