Dodgers, Yankees matchup looks like a true Fall Classic
For the 12th time in history and the fifth time since one of the teams moved across the country, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees are set to clash in the World Series. Despite the fact that these are quite possibly the two most popular baseball teams in MLB, they’re also the two teams with the largest legion of people rooting against them as well.

A total of 246 players will be competing in this week’s LPGA Qualifying Series in hopes of punching their ticket into December’s final stage of qualifying school (Q-School) to earn an opportunity to earn an LPGA card. Among the 246-player field is transgender golfer Hailey Davidson, whose inclusion may align with LPGA’s current gender policy, but not with the vast majority of fellow competitors.

On Saturday, we all watched former Pittsburgh Steelers legends Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell do the unexpected: show up at a Donald Trump rally just outside the Steel City and endorse the presidential candidate. I mean, we should expect wild stuff like this to happen given the times that we live in, but it’s still wild nonetheless.
As it turns out, Brown and Bell’s presence in Latrobe, PA inspired several other Steelers legends to do the same. However, they decided to endorse Trump’s opponent instead.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s new indoor TGL golf league announced its schedule for its inaugural season.
Golf fans can finally gear up for some TGL action, the new tech-infused golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
Originally scheduled to debut in 2024, TGL postponed its launch to January 2025. The SoFi Center, the arena slated to host the league’s competitions in Southeast Florida, collapsed on itself in November 2023.

A wild statistic this week.
It’s one thing to lose to the Steelers, but entirely another to lose to them twice in a week. Davante Adams achieved a wild goal on Sunday thanks to his trade, which saw him play on teams that lost to Pittsburgh in back-to-back weeks, just seven calendar days apart.

On Sunday, October 13 the Las Vegas Raiders lost to the Steelers 32-13 in a game where Adams was healthy, but inactive as he was on the trade block.
On Sunday, October 20 the New York Jets lost to the Steelers 37-15 in Adams’ first game with the Jets.
