Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton saw his United States Grand Prix come to an early end
AUSTIN — Lewis Hamilton had never spun in Turn 3 before at the Circuit of the Americas.
Until this week.
Earlier this week in practice Hamilton had a spin in Turn 3, something that might have been an indication that he was in for a difficult week here in Austin. In the early stages of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix Hamilton spun off the track and into the gravel at Turn 19, bringing his day to a close on just the third lap of the race.

If you were about to play in a winner-take-all championship game, what would your mood be?
I know that if it were me, I’d be laser-focused, and completely stoic. I’d have tons of emotions, but I would channel them into getting ready to be thinking about only the game. Not much cheering, and certainly no trash-talking with the other team.
But the mood of the Minnesota Lynx is much different than mine. 
Minnesota faces off against the New York Liberty at 8 p.m. Sunday night in a winner-take-all Game 5 for the WNBA title.

The Seahawks have lost a key contributor in the fourth quarter. We break down the latest DK Metcalf injury news.
The Seattle Seahawks are dominating the Atlanta Falcons, but they lost a key contributor in the fourth quarter of Week 7. Wide receiver DK Metcalf suffered a knee injury and was taken off the field on a cart.
Metcalf has gone to the locker room and the team announced him as questionable to return. He left the game with four receptions for 99 yards and a touchdown.

The Patriots, who lost their sixth straight after rushing for 38 yards and giving up 171 rushing yards and a 96-yard punt return, were called “soft” by coach Jerod Mayo.

Oregon became the fourth team this season to hold the No. 1 ranking in the AP Top 25 college football poll, moving into the top spot for the first time in 12 years.

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a right Achilles injury toward the end of the first half of Sunday’s game against the Bengals.

As every Formula 1 race does, the United States Grand Prix drew out some of the most well-known celebrities in the world on Sunday afternoon. With the race taking place in Austin, Texas, it makes all the sense in the world that Joe Rogan made an appearance given that he calls ATX home. This didn’t stop some racing fans, in particular McLaren supporters, from having a meltdown.
Rogan and his wife Jessica Ditzel were spotted making their way through the Paddock before being welcomed in the McLaren garage.

The big plays came in the second quarter of Sunday’s battle for the top of the NFC North.

The Buffalo Bills desperately needed to add some weapons for quarterback Josh Allen and they did just that by trading with the Cleveland Browns to acquire wide receiver Amari Cooper. 
Stefon Diggs had been Allen’s main target for several seasons, but he had become discontent in Buffalo, so the team traded him to the Houston Texans in the off-season. 
The Bills drafted Florida State receiver Keon Coleman in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but he has struggled to start the season, as rookies often do.
