They say all good things must come to an end, and the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team learned that the hard way this afternoon.
Just in case you haven’t watched women’s college basketball for any reason besides Caitlin Clark (for which I don’t blame you), I’ll let you in on a little secret: South Carolina is excellent. Dawn Staley – despite being a woke turd blossom that would be fine with men playing in women’s sports – has built a powerhouse in Columbia. In fact, last year, they handed Clark a fat L in the natty to close out her college career.

Fifth-ranked UCLA stunned No. 1 South Carolina 77-62 on Sunday, ending the Gamecocks’ overall 43-game winning streak and their run of 33 consecutive road victories, giving the Bruins their first win over a No. 1 team in program history after 21 tries.

Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs got banged up in the end zone when he went up in traffic for a catch attempt.
6:33 p.m. update: Doubs left the medical tent and walked to the locker room without his helmet. The team announced he has been ruled out with a concussion.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs suffered an injury as he attempted to come down with a touchdown in traffic against the San Francisco 49ers. Doubs landed on his back and appeared to his head against the turf.

Los Angeles Rams star wideout Puka Nacua said he’s learning new things in his second NFL season.
Nacua’s Rams compete in the uber-competitive NFC West division, featuring the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers. It’s one of the more talked about divisions in football, and Nacua admitted this week, absolutely jokingly, that he just found out that he plays in the NFC West.
Puka, a rising Rams star, gave a head-scratching response for the media and fans to chew on. Surely he can’t be serious.

Tua Tagovailoa is clearly a believer that best is superior to better. So, while the Miami Dolphins have enjoyed better times since he returned from his concussion earlier this season, the team’s quarterback is still searching for that next situation.
The best times.
And whether the Dolphins can go from better to best is about to get answered, following Sunday’s 34-15 victory over the New England Patriots.
That win was the third in a row for the Dolphins. So, after a 2-6 start, the Dolphins have rallied to 5-6. And they’re in the playoff discussion again.

NFL fans, and seemingly the Carolina Panthers organization, had all but given up on second-year quarterback Bryce Young.
The team benched Young in favor of veteran Andy Dalton after two games this season and the Panthers promptly beat the Las Vegas Raiders in Dalton’s first start.
But the good times didn’t last and Dalton led the team to four-straight losses, all by at least 10 points. Then, Dalton got into a car wreck and suffered an injury.
So, the team turned back to Young.
