Wisconsin’s football team needs to dial it back a shade on social media.
The Badgers improved to 5-2 Saturday after beating a mediocre-at-best Northwestern squad 23-3 in Evanston.
As a Wisconsin man, it’s certainly nice to be three games above .500 after a very rocky start to the season. The team had been 2-2 after suffering embarrassing back-to-back losses to Alabama and USC.
It looked like the Luke Fickell era was racing towards disaster. Now, he’s stacked up three straight wins, and the vibe is shifting.

The 2024 Ryder Cup this past fall was a disaster for the United States as it was embarrassed by Team Europe in Italy, and American Wyndham Clark has confirmed what everyone was already assuming: Zach Johnson was in over his head as U.S. team captain.
Clark, who went 1-1-1 in Italy, was also a member of the U.S. Presidents Cup team, which took care of business last month in Canada under team captain Jim Furyk.
During a recent appearance on the No Laying Up podcast, Clark reflected on both experiences representing the United States and couldn’t help but compare the two.

AUSTIN — As dawn breaks this Sunday at the Circuit of the Americas ahead of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, Haas is on the verge of a dream trip to Austin.

Social media is torching Kalen DeBoer after Alabama lost to Tennessee.
The Crimson Tide fell on the road in Knoxville 24-17 to the Volunteers, and Alabama is now sitting at 5-2. Despite the fact most teams would be more than happy with that record, Alabama fans expect national titles.
There’s no question fans are incredibly disappointed, and to make matters worse, DeBoer could have easily also lost to South Carolina.
To say college football fans are stunned by Alabama’s fall would be an understatement, and that was on full display Saturday night.
