It’s one thing to lose, because every NFL team, except the 1972 Miami Dolphins, loses. But losing at home, and not competing, and looking lifeless, is what Brian Daboll and the New York Giants are doing a lot this season, which typically comes with repercussions.
The Giants had nothing Sunday. Daboll, the third-year head coach, couldn’t coax his team to compete, much less to win.
“It wasn’t good, wasn’t good,” Daboll said after a 30-7 loss to Tampa Bay. “Had a good week of practice. Did a lot of work, and obviously it didn’t show. No excuses.

Week 12’s divisional face-off between the Cowboys and the Commanders was a strong candidate for the best ending to an NFL game this season.

Four touchdowns were scored in that closing span, starting with a Commanders TD scored by Zach Ertz.

Marshall wound up scoring what was the game-winning touchdown with just over four minutes left in regulation.
Auburn was also fined for its fans storming the field.
Dallas ended a 5-game losing streak with wild 34-26 road win over Commanders that saw the NFC East rivals score 4 TDs in final 4 minutes.

With a the Buffalo Bills on a bye, a big Thursday Night Football game, a Sunday night contest featuring two NFC playoff hopefuls, and a Monday night game featuring two AFC playoff teams, Sunday afternoon felt a little light as far as the NFL Playoff Picture was concerned, but some entertaining games held our attention.

For the team’s annual theme night, the Indiana Pacers big man rolled up to Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Sunday decked out in a full Kylo Ren costume, flanked by two Sith Troopers.
This is just par for the course for Turner, who goes above and beyond for every Pacers’ Star Wars night. And when he doesn’t bring along his unidentified sidekicks, he recruits his girlfriend Aysia Janelle to join in on the fun.
If it wasn’t obvious, Turner is a huge fan of the film and TV franchise.
