Scottie Scheffler knew exactly what he was doing on “College GameDay,” and that means more than just picking the winners for today’s college football matchups.
The No. 1 men’s golfer in the world was the celebrity guest picker on ESPN’s marquee college football show. The producers of the show couldn’t have picked a more fitting guest; not only is he famous right now, but he graduated from Texas – who is playing in the biggest matchup of the week against the visiting Georgia Bulldogs.

Walking around Neyland Stadium a few hours before kickoff, you could feel the magnitude of the upcoming game between Tennessee and Alabama, a rivalry known as ‘The Third Saturday In October.’
The pregame festivities had just about everything you could imagine, from Alabama fans being heckled as they walked around the stadium, to ‘Rocky Top’ being played at just about every tailgate in the vicinity of Neyland Stadium.
I don’t know if the 2022 game in Knoxville can be topped, but both teams need this win more than they’re willing to discuss in the lead up to the game.

Aaron Judge stands nearly 7 feet tall. Only Amazon’s Alexa can do more than Shohei Ohtani. Yet neither ballplayer is as polarizing as Albert Belle was some 30 years ago.

On a radio hit with Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, he lambasted Campbell for calling trick plays late in the game when it was clear Detroit would win.

Every so often, I come across an individual who says he or she doesn’t like baseball. There’s nothing wrong with that; not everyone has to like every major sport in existence. Heck, I despise the NBA, and there are tons of people who’d be ready to throw hands with me for saying that.
But most of the time, people say they don’t like baseball because they find it boring. And that’s something I just can’t agree with.
People will say “oh it’s too slow and there’s not much action.
