One win away from winning the NL pennant, the Dodgers are controlling the momentum in the NLCS, stealing a second-straight game in Flushing with a dominant 10-2 win over the New York Mets on Thursday.
The Dodgers have outscored the Mets at Citi Field 18-2.
Mets pitchers have struggled with walks, and the bats are still leaving runners on base in this series. They are 4-for-25 with runners in scoring position in the NLCS, and New York’s pitchers have issued 29 walks in 34 innings pitched. 
LA drew nine walks on Thursday.

Buried somewhere under a loaded Thursday slate of sports was a one-sided Broncos and Saints battle on Thursday Night Football.
As most of us would’ve guessed — not really — Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos trampled the New Orleans Saints in primetime. The beat-down even sent fans at the Superdome headed for the exits with well over 10 minutes left in regulation.
These Saints needed Derek Carr back sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, they’re still weeks out from their QB1 returning from an oblique injury.
The Spencer Rattler-led Saints fizzled out quickly.

For several innings on Thursday night, it looked like the Cleveland Guardians were going to cruise their way back in the American League Championship Series. The New York Yankees entered game three with a 2-0 series lead, and even seemed to have put the struggles of superstar outfielder and likely AL MVP Aaron Judge behind them. With the game still fairly close at 4-2 in the bottom of the 7th inning on Tuesday, Judge launched a mammoth homer to right center field off reliever Hunter Gaddis.

The Federal Communications Commission received several complaints alleging that ESPN repeatedly broadcast the Emergency Alert System (EAS) Tones during a sports-related promotion. ESPN acknowledged that the promotional spot in question was broadcast six times between October 20 and 24, 2023, across two ESPN-owned networks.
