Duke is the No. 1 overall seed in the 2026 NCAA tournament but is barely not the betting favorite to win it all. 
The Blue Devils are +333 at BetMGM after the full 68-team field was revealed on Sunday. That’s second behind Michigan at +325 and ahead of fellow No. 1 seeds Arizona at +425 and Florida at +600. 
Duke beat Michigan 68-63 on Feb. 21 in Washington D.C. as the Blue Devils got an opportunity to play at Capital One Arena before the NCAA tournament. As the top seed in the East region, Duke will play in D.C. if they win its first and second-round games.

What time does Women’s NCAA Tournament Selection Show start?
The Women’s NCAA Tournament Selection Show is at 8 p.m. on ESPN. Michigan and Michigan State will find out who they will play in the first round.
The women’s selection committee has already determined that Michigan will be one of the top 16 seeds in the tournament, so the Wolverines will host first- and second-round games at the Crisler Center.

Denny Hamlin has win No. 1 for 2026.
Hamlin won the Pennzoil 400 on March 15 in the NASCAR Las Vegas race. It was his 60th career win.
He held off Chase Elliott for the win. Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Christopher Bell was fourth.

It has been a nervous weekend for first year head coach Sean Miller and the Texas Longhorns men’s basketball program. The Longhorns crashed out of the SEC postseason tournament in the first round. The loss to Ole Miss capped a finish to the season that saw UT loose five of its final six. But the NCAA tournament selection show has revealed Texas is in the Big Dance.
The Longhorns (18-14) will head to Dayton, OH to face NC State (20-13) in the First Four, formally know as the play-in game. The game will be either March 17 or 18 and be televised on truTV.

The Michigan Wolverines appear to have avoided a major injury scare just days before the start of the 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
According to reporter Alejandro Zúñiga, Michigan forward Yaxel Lendeborgrevealed that he is dealing with a low ankle sprain, but he expects to play in the Wolverines’ NCAA Tournament opener.
That is welcome news for a Michigan team that earned a No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region after posting an impressive 31–3 record during the regular season.

March Madness is upon us for the 2025-26 college basketball season! The NCAA men’s basketball tournament selection committee has finalized the bracket and CBS is unveiling every matchup in the First Four and the first round.
