Stephen A. Smith is paid millions of dollars to deliver hot takes across the ESPN airwaves. What makes him different from most hot-take artists is that he does actually possess common sense, and his reaction to the Trump Dance taking over the NFL over the past couple of weeks proves that.
Last week, following a weekend filled with players across the league doing the Donald Trump Dance after big plays, the NFL, through a spokesperson, confirmed that it has “no issue” with players who do the dance that mimics the moves of the President-Elect.

Every Italian should be mocking Baker Mayfield for his arm flailing.
The New York Giants rolled out Tommy DeVito as their starting quarterback this week, benching and releasing Daniel Jones coming out of their Week 11 bye. The return of DeVito means it’s time once again for his Italian-inspired hand celebration. It also means we get opponents doing the celebration to mock him.
Baker Mayfield is the latest Giants opponent to try and throw the hand celebration in DeVito’s face, and he did a decidedly poor job at it.

Caleb Williams dropped a dime on the run for the Bears.
The Chicago Bears were one of the most hyped young teams in the NFL entering the season after selecting QB Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Chicago was on the brink of a 5-2 when Jayden Daniels’ Hail Mary ripped their hearts out. The Bears haven’t won since, with a blocked game-winning field goal against the rival Green Bay Packers serving as their latest heartbreaker last week.
While the Bears’ season has gone down the drain, Williams has still showed some flashes of brilliance.

Manchester United had to settle for a 1-1 draw at lowly Ipswich Town in Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim’s first match in charge as Marcus Rashford’s early goal was cancelled out by a deflected strike from Omari Hutchinson in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Sparks, Wings, Sky, and Liberty all have new practice facilities in the works — but a few WNBA teams have no plans at the moment.
The Los Angeles Sparks are the latest WNBA team to begin plans to construct their own practice facility. For the last two seasons, the Sparks practiced at El Camino College, a community college in Torrance, California.
“We are building more than a practice facility; we are investing in the future of women’s basketball in Los Angeles,” said Sparks governor Eric Holoman in a statement.

Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz had fun talking some serious trash to Mississippi State players during the closing seconds of the Tigers’ win in Starkville on Saturday night.
As Missouri led the Bulldogs 39-20 with just over a minute left in regulation, the Tigers were on the doorstep of potentially scoring again to make the score that much more lopsided. As the final seconds came off the clock, the camera panned to Drinkwitz who shouted a savage message at the Mississippi State players.
