Rory McIlroy seems to still not be at 100%.
The reigning Masters Champion withdrew from the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard on Saturday.

With the NCAA Basketball Tournament – also known as March Madness – drawing nearer, many programs are positioning themselves to gain a favorable draw during Selection Sunday and make a run at a title.
It’s that time of year when teams and players are lauded for their accomplishments, too.
Player of the Year awards are handed down, and conference titles are awarded, but one program was all too happy to crow about their mediocre end to their season.

DENVER, CO – NOVEMBER 06: J.K. Dobbins #27 of the Denver Broncos looks on from the field during an NFL football game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Empower Field at Mile High on November 6, 2025 in Denver, Colorado. (Photo by Cooper Neill/Getty Images) | Getty Images
According to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos have re-signed running back JK Dobbins to a two-year deal. The Broncos missed out on Kenneth Walker and Travis Etienne, but brought back Dobbins, who was a top rusher in the league before suffering a season-ending foot injury.

The Alvin Kamara era in New Orleans is nearing its end. That’s the logical conclusion after the Saints made a significant investment in a new running back this offseason.
Travis Etienne signed with the New Orleans Saints Monday, inking a four year, $52 million contract to punch up the league’s 31st-ranked rushing attack. The move adds a young, explosive runner and receiver who racked up more than 1,000 rushing yards in three of his four active NFL seasons to date. It also raises questions about Kamara’s role as he nears his 31st birthday.

The news that Kenneth Walker is signing with the Chiefs may come as a surprise to some football fans. Just last week, CBS Sports reported he would be out of Kansas City’s price range.
“The Chiefs may not be in the mix for a top-of-market player like Kenneth Walker III, but a player in that $8 million per year area could be one for them,” insider Jonathan Jones said.
Yet the development was hardly a surprise to followers of the @RickeyScoops account on X.

The Miami Dolphins might have made the smartest, most-surprising move of the legal tampering period on Monday. The organization found their starting quarterback of the future by signing Malik Willis to a three-year, $67.

It’s great to be a Florida Gator.
The 100th career victory on the PGA Tour by a Florida Gator officially belongs to Ricky Castillo as he pulled through in the Puerto Rico Open on Sunday.

The Las Vegas Raiders had a terrible offensive line last season. They didn’t want to stick a rookie quarterback behind that line without making some major improvements.
Center Tyler Linderbaum improves the middle of the line right away. Linderbaum was one of the top free agents available and the Raiders beat out other interested teams to sign him. It was a deal that was by far the most ever for a center.
Linderbaum signed a three-year deal worth $81 million with $60 million guaranteed according to ESPN.

Travis Kelce could have opted to merely be Mr. Taylor Swift. Or he could have opted to accept a lucrative television analyst gig. But he’s instead headed back to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kelce’s representation has told multiple teams he has decided to go back to the Chiefs rather than test free agency that began at noon on Monday. And that same representation has been discussing a new contract with the Chiefs.
The new deal, by the way, is expected to be for less than what Kelce could have gotten working on television.
