In one of the most athletic highlights you’ll see this week, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant climbed the ladder and threw down a slam on Wembanyama, the San Antonio Spurs’ phenom.
Morant made Wemby look small with his remix of the famous Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan signature dunks — leaping over a defender and launching the ball from feet away, lasering through the nylon.

This would have been an all-time great dunk for Ja Morant over Wemby, but sadly it didn’t count.
Remember when Ja Morant said he wasn’t dunking anymore? So much for that. The Memphis Grizzlies star had his best dunk of the season against the Boston Celtics just days after that viral quote, and he’s continued attacking the basket all year. These days, Morant might prefer unleashing a 360 layup rather than going for the big slam, but he’s still capable of getting up with the best of them.
