Butler basketball is adding a tough opponent to its nonconference schedule.
The Bulldogs will face Nebraska in Chicago at the Credit Union 1 Arena, home of the University of Illinois-Chicago Flames, Sunday Nov. 22. Tickets will go on sale soon. The television assignment and tip time will be announced at a later date.

The neutral site match will be the fifth meeting between the two teams. The Cornhuskers hold a 3-1 advantage over the Dawgs; they last met in the 2019 NIT.

Following the acquisition of linebacker Tremaine Edmunds in free agency, the New York Giants filled a much-needed void left by Bobby Okereke, who was released earlier this offseason. However, the move that nobody saw coming was the Giants’ selection of linebacker Arvell Reese, a prospect that few expected to fall and be available to Big Blue at fifth overall in the 2026 NFL draft.
The pair of Edmunds and Reese has drawn recent praise as a major upgrade from ESPN analysts.

Iraola urges Arsenal target not to change clubs

Eli Junior Kroupi has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer as the French forward continues to impress for Bournemouth despite having only one season of Premier League experience. His performances have attracted attention across the league as he develops at a rapid pace.

Kroupi was the top-scoring youngster in the Premier League this season and delivered several impressive performances for the Cherries throughout the campaign.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen topped the NFLPA’s annual Top-50 list in Player Sales list, a year after he finished sixth. Eagles running back Saquon Barkley previously held the top spot.
Patriots quarterback Drake Maye finished second while Barkley was third. Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels rounded out the top five.
The list accounts for the league’s top retail performers based on sales of officially licensed products during the league year from March 1, 2025 to Feb. 28, 2026.

Couto reportedly “open to a transfer” away from Dortmund
Yan Couto’s departure from Borussia Dortmund to Como 1907 is taking concrete shape, according to Matteo Moretto.
The Brazilian is now reportedly “open to a transfer” and negotiations with the Serie A side are said to be at an advanced stage.
Couto has largely failed to establish himself permanently in his second campaign at BVB, often kept out of the team by Julian Ryerson.
With BVB reportedly demanding a transfer fee of €20-25 million, a loan move has recently emerged as a possible option.

There’s no good way to interview someone the size of Victor Wembanyama post-game, unless the man is sitting down. When you’re 7-4 your entire existence is spent adapting to the world around you, so I don’t blame him when he doesn’t feel like stooping down after a basketball game to make life easier on reporters. Still, it has a tendency to create some hilarious moments, as we saw on Monday night when ESPN’s Lisa Salters was reduced to a disembodied arm on camera.

The internet tells me that Lisa Salters is an unconfirmed 5-2, but still this is pretty hilarious.

This postseason has had a prevailing subplot in Victor Wembanyama’s ascent— not only as the 22-year-old cements himself as the face of the NBA, but also how the young superstar is trying to find his edge on the court. That manifested itself with an elbow to Naz Reid against the Timberwolves, and reared its head once more on Monday night against the Knicks.
Wemby was jostling with Jalen Brunson at the top of the key, and decided to throw him to the ground like he was nothing.

This is insane 😭 pic.twitter.

If the first game of the series between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Athletics at Las Vegas Ballpark in Las Vegas, Nevada, was any indication, fans of both teams (and baseball in general) are in for a wild ride the rest of the way.

On Monday, Milwaukee and the A’s went at it like two gladiators, each refusing to lose. But when it was all said and done and after what seems like a ton of home runs, the Brewers came out on top with a 15-14 victory.

That series opener broke the record for the most runs scored in a game so far in the 2026 MLB season.
