The 2024 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix got off to a worrying start for Red Bull. Max Verstappen, hoping to capture his fourth straight F1 Drivers’ Championship in Las Vegas, finished fifth in FP1 with teammate Sergio Pérez a few places behind him in P10. Things did not improve in FP2 as both drivers took a step back, with Verstappen down in P17 and Pérez in P19.

Next year looks to be a transformative season in F1, with Lewis Hamilton moving to Ferrari and the sport entering its final year under the current regulations before new technical directives are implemented in 2026.

The video of Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson walking in a rehabilitation pool this week caused some sparks on social media because – look at that! – the guy everyone last saw carted off the field with a broken leg last month is walking!
So, of course, this suggests his rehabilitation is going great.
And the hopes of all Lions fans that Hutchinson could return to the lineup if (when?) the Lions make it to the Super Bowl in February – a hope coach Dan Campbell said he would not dismiss – rose.
