ESPN is finally canceling “Around the Horn.” The show will air its final episode in the summer of 2025, as the New York Post first reported.
Though the show originally gave newspaper columnists a much-needed platform on television, “Around the Horn” morphed into everything that ails ESPN today.
The show had become a landing spot for the politically active and rejected-by-fans pundits ESPN was paying but no longer has use for, like Bomani Jones, Pablo Torre, Sarah Spain, and Michael Smith.

What happened to the (All-Star) game I love?
Let’s say the Lego Company wants to re-release an old Death Star Lego. It’s an iconic set, but some pieces have been recalled because too many kids ate them, others aren’t even in production anymore, and the general construction of the whole thing hasn’t aged well. Oh, and the instructions might be too difficult to follow for today’s generation of kids. It’s cool in theory, but an unwieldy relic in the real world.

The Vegas Golden Knights are going to be in Ottawa on Thursday to face the Senators and there will be some bad blood on display.
Not between the teams, however, it’s between the goalies — Vegas’ Ilya Samsonov and Ottawa’s Linus Ullmark — and it dates back to last season when both of them played for completely different teams.
Last spring, Ullmark was with the Boston Bruins while Samsonov was backstopping the Toronto Maple Leafs when the two teams met in the opening round of the playoffs.

If you want to count down the weirdest days Daniel Jones has had in his six seasons with the New York Giants, then Thursday has to be near the top of the list.
Forget that he was benched earlier this week because – depending on whom you believe – the Giants are making football decisions or the Giants are making a $23 million business decision to keep from paying Jones an injury guarantee in 2025.
Now let’s examine what we see because it paints the best picture of what is truly happening:
Jones came out to practice like all the rest of the healthy Giants players on Thursday.

Denver, CO – After a three-hour emergency hearing at the Byron G. Rodgers United States Courthouse in downtown Denver, the Honorable S. Kato Crews told counsel for all involved parties that he would need time to make a ruling, but that he would do so in a “timely fashion.”
Lawyers for the plaintiffs made their arguments for why Judge Crews should grant injunctive relief prior to the start of the Mountain West Conference volleyball tournament on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Dodgers used the 2023-2024 offseason to cement their status as the most popular team in Japan. Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto made the Dodgers must-see TV in Japan, to the point where the Fox World Series broadcast repeatedly showed fans watching games in Japanese bars.
Now that it’s become official that the next highly touted Japanese import, 23-year-old starter Roki Sasaki, will be coming to Major League Baseball next season, it’s been widely assumed he’d follow in Ohtani and Yamamoto’s footsteps.
