Look, I don’t want to pile on poor William Mouw today. Seriously. I love golf, and I am also not very good at it, which gives me exactly zero legs to stand on here.
If I shoot anywhere in the 80s, it’s an excellent day. I think my best ever is 84, and I’m quite sure there were a dozen “gimmies” in there that were at least 8-footers. Trust me, I ain’t waxing poetic here.
That being said, when a PGA Tour rookie has a hole like the one you’re about to watch, I simply have to blog about it. I don’t like it. I don’t feel great about it.

The Detroit Lions are giving the Dallas Cowboys some serious competition for the designation of “America’s Team.”
Dallas remains one of the most iconic sports brands, not just in the NFL, but the entire world. However, they’ve been wallowing in mediocrity for the past several years and have only won four playoff games in the past 20 years. To be fair, they are still popular and put up huge TV ratings, but its surprising given that they aren’t a very successful team.
On the flip side, the Detroit Lions are now one of the more elite teams in the NFL.

The Detroit Lions gave fans a shot of adrenaline Saturday morning.
The Lions play the Commanders Saturday night in the playoffs, and fans are buzzing going into the game. Detroit is the top seed in the NFC, might have the best team in franchise history and there’s been a complete and total culture shift.
The Lions are no longer a joke in the NFL. The team is elite, and it’s time to find out just how high this plane can fly.
What does a major football game require? You already know the answer.
An epic hype video.
That’s what the Lions dropped for fans Saturday afternoon.

Saturday’s NFL Divisional Round playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans will be a real world test weighing rust versus rest – the idea of keeping players out of the lineup in order to get them healthier at the risk of them losing their edge.
And OutKick medical expert Dr. David Chao is confident that in the case of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, rest will prove to outweigh rust this game, especially as it pertains to the quarterback.
“I would argue that the upside of his ankle being better outweighs the rust issue,” Dr. Chao said of Mahomes.

The 39-year-old head coach has set Notre Dame up for success in the College Football Playoff.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are appearing in their first National Championship game since 2012 and aiming for their first National Championship victory since 1988. It won’t be easy though, as the No. 8 seed Ohio State Buckeyes (13-2) are 8.5-point betting favorites against No. 7 seed Notre Dame (14-1). However, a major reason why Notre Dame has a fighting chance against the Buckeyes is because of the decision to hire Marcus Freeman three years ago.
