As expected, the first-round series between the Knicks and Hawks has become must-see TV. These two squads are going blow for blow, and no lead appear safe.
After initiating a 12-point lead after the first quarter, Atlanta struggled to keep its distance, as New York clawed its way back, leading to an enormously entertaining back-and-forth lead-taking late in the fourth quarter, as it all went down to the dying seconds, with the Hawks holding on, winning 109-108, going up 2-1.

The whirlwind first round of the 2026 NFL Draft speeds on as the New York Giants have selected Miami offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa.
Mauigoa played right tackle for the Hurricanes, however he will almost certainly slide inside to play right guard next to Jermaine Eluemunor.
The 6-foot-5, 330 pound Mauigoa is an exceptionally powerful player with very good mobility for the guard position.

The Philadelphia Eagles will begin the night with the No.

You almost want to grade the New Orleans Saints‘ first round pick with an “A” just because they resisted temptation to trade up. Instead, the Saints stood pat at eighth overall, let the board come to them, and chose to select former Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson in the 2026 NFL Draft. Tyson was one of multiple wideouts who made a top-30 visit to the Saints before the draft, and 20 different teams visited his private pro day workout earlier in April. There was a ton of interest surrounding him. So let’s get to know the newest member of the black and gold.

Jeremiyah Love broke Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis’ records at Notre Dame, and now the NFL Draft has tied the running backs together again
Love was the first running back off the board when the Arizona Cardinals selected him with the third overall pick. It’s the first time a Notre Dame running back was selected in the first round since the Los Angeles Rams drafted Bettis with the 10th overall pick at the 1993 NFL Draft.
Love, who finished third in Heisman Trophy voting, played three seasons with Notre Dame, rushing 2882 yards for 36 touchdowns.

The Golden State Warriors have put together their teams through a variety of ways over the years, yet few approaches have proven as successful as the NBA draft. More than anything else, the most talented players to represent the Warriors have arrived in Golden State either by being selected directly in the annual draft or through trades executed on that same night.
The Golden State Warriors have taken many of their top stars through the draft, but have also landed a number of notable players over the years as well.

The Florida Gators football program will contribute a smaller number of prospects to NFL rosters in 2026. However, almost all of them will be concentrated in the first two days with one player sliding into day 3.
The first four names are all trench players. Offensive line and defensive line. Later in the process, they will also see a CB and a WR come off the board.

The New Orleans Saints seemingly hit a home run last year at quarterback, taking Tyler Shough in the second round. This year, it was time to get Shough some help.
The Saints took Arizona State receiver Jordyn Tyson with the eighth overall pick. The knock on Tyson has been that he dealt with numerous injuries through his college career. His talent was hard to deny, however.
