BRONSON — The Sturgis bowling teams are continuing to improve.
For head coach Scott Spahr and the Trojans, that remains a positive. The girls team is ranked No. 4 in the first Michigan High School Interscholastic Bowling Coaches Association poll for Division 2, the boys are ranked eighth.
Most recently, the Trojan teams logged a couple of wins over Otsego. The girls claimed a 28-2 victory, the boys won 21-9.

There is nothing wrong with what the Cleveland Browns did on Wednesday by hiring Todd Monken as their new head coach. No, really, it’s fine.

As we continue in this weird WNBA offseason that has seen schedules being dropped despite no end in sight to CBA negotiations, we have another team update. The Portland Fire, who will be joining the Toronto Tempo as the league’s new teams next season, released their jerseys.
When Tempo released their jerseys last month, it was only their Explorer and Heroine editions, and the Fire have done the same here. When Golden State, the first expansion team in this wave, released their jerseys before the 2025 WNBA season, they also only had two editions.
