The Hoosiers cruised through the college football regular season, beat Ohio State in the Big Ten title game 13-10, rolled through the College Football Playoff and beat Miami in a thriller in the national title game.
It’s arguably the most magical season in college football history, and the fact Indiana has historically been awful makes it even better.
Apparently, Ohio State needs to learn how to show a bit more respect to the best team in the country.

The Minnesota Vikings made one of the most surprising front-office decisions of the NFL offseason on Thursday, firing general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah in a move that immediately raised eyebrows around the league.
The timing alone made the decision shocking. Adofo-Mensah had just spent the week at the Senior Bowl evaluating draft prospects, and he had been extended only last offseason, signaling organizational confidence not long ago. Instead, the Vikings abruptly pulled the plug.

Lindsey Vonn is better equipped to come back from an injury than pretty much anyone else.
Vonn injured her left knee in a crash during the final downhill before the Milano Cortina Olympics on Jan. 30. She was able to get back up and ski down to the bottom of the course, but stopped several times to rest or check her knee.
In a social media post several hours after the crash, Vonn said she was still consulting with her doctors and having tests but is not ruling out competing at the Olympics. The Milano Cortina Games begin Feb. 6, and the downhill is Feb. 8.

Jan. 30—JAMESTOWN — When Hannah Sjostrom joined the Jamestown High School girls wrestling team five years ago, she probably didn’t know the impact she would be making on her younger sister Hope or the entire Jamestown High School girls wrestling program.
“Two months after my sister joined wrestling, my dad asked me if I wanted to join,” said Hope. “I wanted to be just like my sister so I said that I wanted to compete.”
Hope, now a seventh grader at Jamestown Middle School, is in her first season competing for the JHS girls wrestling team.

Topps has released the first-ever Audi Formula 1 trading cards after the German marque took over Sauber ahead of the 2026 season.
The Audi trading cards include various team cards for the launch event in Berlin and a driver card featuring Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto, along with their signatures. Priced from £11.99 for a single-card pack to £165.99 for a pack of 20, they are available via the Topps website.
Topps has been the official licensee of F1 trading cards and sticker collections since 2020.

The WBC middleweight title fight between Carlos Adames and Austin “Ammo” Williams is off after Adames was forced to withdraw from the bout due to illness just one day out from fight night. 
A replacement opponent is being worked on so Williams can stay on the Lopez vs. Stevenson undercard on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Michigan State basketball head coach Tom Izzo took social media and the college basketball world by storm when he was caught telling Kur Teng that he couldn’t guard Izzo’s mother. Now, those comments have manifested itself into a meme across the nation.
During a press conference after a win against Washington on Thursday, Illinois head coach Brad Underwood went to the Izzo well when talking about Ben Humrichous. Underwood mentioned that Humrichous would not have been able to guard Izzo’s mom.
