Last week, OutKick’s Matt Reigle wrote about a situation that involved the parents of some girls’ soccer players at Bow High School in New Hampshire. The long and short of it is that several parents dislike the fact that Plymouth High School had a biological male on its roster, and after learning that the powers that be would do nothing to stop it, they decided to wear pink armbands with “XX” written on them as a show of support for the biological women.

Colorado’s Travis Hunter should be college football’s Heisman Trophy front-runner right now.
Through four weeks of the college football season, not much is very clear. No top team has really separated themselves from the pack, the elites of the world are either going through QB injuries or lulls of inconsistency, and the parity created by the transfer portal has leveled the playing field, at least so far.
However, one thing is clear: the best player in college football resides in Boulder, Colorado.

No player was flagrantly fouled more in the WNBA this season than Caitlin Clark.
Tellingly, the women who most commonly resorted to dirty non-basketball plays while defending Clark were also her most notable detractors, like Angel Reese and Chennedy Carter.
And Dijonai Carrington.
On Sunday, Carrington jammed her finger into Clark’s eye during Game 1 of the Sun-Fever playoff series.  Clark ended up with a black eye. Somehow, the refs did not call a foul on the play.

As the league evolves and grows, the WNBA needs to solve the problems that exist with their current playoff format.
It’s often hard to forget just how relatively young the WNBA is. The playoffs are officially underway to put the final touches on their 28th season which, when said aloud, doesn’t sound particularly new.
However, compare that to other leagues across America and you quickly get a better sense. The NFL’s 28th season was in 1947.

Apparently, the Arizona Cardinals are not the only sports franchise to be in hot water over telling a fan they couldn’t wear a “Make America Great Again” hat.
A woman from New York named Aura Moody is suing the New York Mets for allegedly denying her entrance to Citi Field on August 14 because she was wearing a hat with Donald Trump’s campaign slogan. She filed the lawsuit in Brooklyn Federal Court, and is seeking $2 million in damages.
