The NBA playoffs are fast approaching, with the play-in tournament in full swing and Game 1 matchups set for this weekend. One postseason contest, in particular, is heating up the ticket market, with fans clamoring for seats to the Warriors’ first-round clash with the Kings. The cross-state rivalry will be held at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center, which has a capacity of 17,608.

According to NBC Sports, Saturday’s game is set to be the most expensive first-round contest on record. The average ticket price for the event is $1,409.

The Bucks enter the NBA playoffs as the top overall seed and the betting favorite to win their third title.
Among the top championship contenders are the three other Finals participants from the last two years: the Celtics, Suns and Warriors. 
The 76ers, Nuggets and Lakers round out the upper echelon of potential title teams and then there’s a steep dropoff to the next group.
After the play-in tournaments decide the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds in the Eastern and Western Conference in the coming days, the field will narrow to 16 teams before the playoffs officially begin this weekend.

With us being in that strange week between the regular season and the playoffs, I figured it makes sense to share my season-long awards ballot, which I cast a few days ago.

Buccaneers linebacker Devin White has requested a trade from the team, ESPN’s Jenna Laine reports. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Tampa Bay does not have plans to trade White despite the request.
Tampa Bay drafted the linebacker with the No. 5 pick in the 2019 NFL draft, and White has spent each of the last four seasons with the team. In those years, White has played in 62 total games and recorded 483 total tackles and 20.5 sacks.

Running back has long been the most important position in fantasy football as it pertains to rookies. Wide receiver has certainly caught up in recent years, but we’re almost always going to see a few first-year backs make an impact in fantasy.
Last season, we saw Kenneth Walker III, Dameon Pierce and Tyler Allgeier all make noise, finishing with 150-plus points. Breece Hall was on his way to a potential top-10 finish before injuring his knee, and Isiah Pacheco was useful down the stretch. We also saw Rachaad White, Brian Robinson and Zonovan Knight gain value as the year wore on.

Lane Kiffin is a different coach, and person, than he was during his time with Tennessee, USC and Oakland. The 47-year-old has had the chance to grow, reflect and learn about himself, the sport, and the players he coaches over the last two+ decades.
Throughout that process, Kiffin has seen college football change drastically along with him.

Abdul Rasheed Babatunde Agbaje, a 21-year-old former college soccer player at Mercer University, reportedly collapsed during a soccer game before later being pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Agbaje, known as Baba, was a former member of Mercer’s team who completed his eligibility this past fall.

According to Bibb County Coroner Leron Jones, Agbaje collapsed and went into cardiac arrest while playing a pick-up game at the Mercer intramural fields.

The Fever kicked off Monday’s WNBA draft as basically everyone suspected, selecting South Carolina star Aliyah Boston with the first pick. After that, however, in true draft fashion, there were surprise selections and viral moments aplenty. Now that the dust has settled and 36 draftees have heard their names called, a clearer picture of the night has come into view with apparent winners and some unlucky losers.
