Hopes of TNT managing to hang on to a piece of the NBA’s latest TV deal appear to be all but dead. That means the network’s beloved Inside The NBA is on its last legs and one of the show’s hosts, NBA great Charles Barkley, appeared on The Dan Patrick Show to talk about his plans moving forward.
The Round Mound of Rebound released a statement on the matter.
“Clearly the NBA has wanted to break up with us from the beginning,” Barkley wrote. “I’m not sure TNT ever had a chance.

A coach on staff with the Australian swimming team at the 2024 Olympics openly admitted that he is pulling for a South Korean swimmer to win gold in a race that will feature Aussies. He’s since come under serious pressure and scrutiny from people in the Australian camp, and understandably so.
In an interview with South Korean television, coach Michael Palfrey said he was pulling for Kim Woo-min to claim gold in the men’s 400-meter freestyle. Palfrey backing Kim isn’t as random as it may seem as he has previously coached him.

ESPN debuted a program in 2002 called “Around the Horn” to supplement its flagship debate program “Pardon the Interruption” in the same one-hour block.
The show served the valuable purpose of placing newspaper columnists on television, an idea at which most television executives scoffed. Early panelists included accomplished writers like Woody Paige, Jay Mariotti, Jackie MacMullan, and Bob Ryan.
However, “ATH” has drastically changed since its inception. The New York Post reported this week that ESPN plans to cancel the program by the fall of 2025.
