Does anyone want the Pac-12?
The future of the Pac-12 seems to be about as stable as the deck of the Titanic. As USC and UCLA head for the Big Ten at the end of this season, the conference is looking murkier and murkier by the day (and Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark looking to add more schools in the wake of Oklahoma and Texas going to the SEC), and now is a more crucial time than ever for the Pac-12 to solidify things like TV deals and licensing.

The thought of retiring has entered LeBron James’ mind, at least he wants us all to think it has.
Following the Los Angeles Lakers being swept by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals on Monday night, James was asked what his plans are for next year. While most were expecting him to give a generic answer about getting to the NBA Finals, that isn’t the route he took.

LOS ANGELES – They kept coming, these Denver Nuggets. When LeBron James made shots, when Anthony Davis blocked them, when every Tristan Thompson-sized button Darvin Ham pushed seemed destined to extend this series to a fifth game.
Pack it in, finish things off in Colorado?
Nah. The only thing the Nuggets wanted to take home was a trophy.
Denver is Finals-bound, completing a sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers with a 113–111 win on Monday. The Nuggets trailed by six at the end of the first quarter, 15 at the half and LeBron James was cooking.
With every win over the Lakers, the Nuggets’ confidence grew. Denver and Nikola Jokic are on a roll, and it may be too late to stop them.
The Nuggets, behind another playoff triple-double from Nikola Jokic, are in the NBA Finals for the first time.
Following the Lakers’ season-ending 113–111 loss to the Nuggets in Monday night’s Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, LeBron James strode to the postgame media session to answer questions about their defeat, playoff run and the season as a whole. It was his response to the final question, though, that was the most open to interpretation.
James was asked how he would evaluate the season on a personal level, and his lengthy and wide-ranging response touched on a lot of topics and emotions.
