LSU basketball star Angel Reese added an impressive social media milestone to her belt recently. Reese’s Instagram account now boasts over 2 million followers, and she made a post in celebration of the milestone.
Reese posed for a photoshoot with Tycoon Sports, a media agency which aims to help athletes build their brand and platforms.
In addition, she added some of her photos from the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition to the post on Instagram, which was captioned, “CHEERS TO 2M.

Following a disappointing season in Chapel Hill, North Carolina guard Caleb Love entered the transfer portal and announced Tuesday he’s heading to Arizona after initially committing to Michigan. The Tar Heels missed the NCAA Tournament after starting the season as the country’s preseason #1.
Part of the reason for the high preseason ranking was the presence of Love. However, the team never gelled like it did in its National Championship runner-up run during March Madness in 2022.
Several UNC players entered the transfer portal, but none more important than Love. Love averaged 16.

While Georgia prepares for the upcoming football season as the two-time defending national champion, the Bulldogs have dealt with a variety of off-the-field issues. Several times this year, Georgia players have been arrested or cited in regard to driving incidents, including suspicion of DUI.
The issues began when former offensive lineman Devin Willock and recruiting analyst Chandler LeCroy died in a car crash in January in an incident that led to former defensive lineman Jalen Carter getting charged for street racing.

Garbiñe Muguruza, who won the French Open in 2016 and Wimbledon in 2017, recently revealed that she became engaged to American model Arthur Borges almost two years after the pair met by chance in New York City. As Muguruza explained, she set out to go for a walk in Central Park around the time of the U.S. Open when Borges recognized her and wished her luck in the tournament—and took a chance and asked to get a picture of her.

Jimmy Butler and the Heat are headed back to the NBA Finals for the second time in the last four years. Amid Miami’s red-hot run through the playoffs, Butler reportedly filed an extremely fitting trademark.
According to Josh Gerben, trademark attorney and founder of Gerben IP, Butler filed a trademark for “HIMMY BUCKETS” on May 24, 2023.
Butler reportedly intends to launch “HIMMY BUCKETS” brands of coffee, soda, beer, bottled water, coffee cups and mugs, and clothing, should his trademark be approved.

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass found out the hard way that you don’t publicly criticize woke politics.
Bass made news Tuesday when he appeared to support the Bud Light and Target boycotts.
Both have come in for substantial criticism for their politically minded marketing campaigns. Bass, who is a Christian, seemed to imply he felt like many others offended by the corporate move into activism.

As college football recruits go through the process in the era of NIL, money is a factor. Period.
Money and recruiting go hand-in-hand. (Photos by Getty Images)
Whether it is the driving force behind the recruitment or not is one thing. Some prospects may value a dollar figure more than others. That’s fine, but the financial element is impossible to avoid.
I spent Tuesday at the first day of the On3 NIL Elite Series in Nashville. It is a one-of-a-kind event that is focused on providing top recruits with the skills needed to thrive within the Name, Image and Likeness space.
