Jake Fromm and Stetson Bennett arrived at Georgia in the same year. One has a degree, one does not appear to have a degree.
Fromm, a former four-star recruit in the Class of 2017, committed to play for the Bulldogs in March of 2016 after flipping his commitment from Alabama. Upon arrival in Athens, he entered his true freshman year as the backup to Jacob Eason.
Eason ended up getting hurt and Fromm tagged in. Georgia reached the SEC Championship, and Fromm was named SEC newcomer of the year.
Fromm went on to throw for 7,236 yards and 78 touchdowns while completing 63.

Actual players will be featured in EA Sports’ upcoming college football game.
“NCAA Football” from EA Sports was one of the most popular video games in the country for years, but came to an abrupt end after “NCAA Football 14” dropped summer 2013. The game never featured actual names, but likeness issues brought on legal battles that ended the series.
EA Sports shocked and stunned college football fans when it announced the game would return. The NIL era changed everything, and the untitled series will hit shelves next summer.

Everything is coming together in Richmond.
We’re deep in the Ted Lasso end game. We knew before season four began that this would be our last trip to Richmond, and “International Break” marks the moment that the bow on the series is beginning to be tied.

He may have been halfway across the world from where the event took place, but all eyes during Tuesday’s NBA draft lottery were on French phenom Victor Wembanyama, the consensus No. 1 selection in next month’s draft. It was considered a foregone conclusion that Wembanyama would be selected by whoever won the rights to the No. 1 pick, and we got to see in real time Wembanyama’s reaction to his future NBA destination.
Wembanyama seems destined to head to San Antonio after the Spurs won the lottery. But Wemby’s most interesting reaction might have been to the team he’s not going to.

Even after the winning numbers popped up, after Jamin Dershowitz, the NBA lawyer charged with locating the winning combination of Ping-Pong balls on one of eight poster boards inside a sealed-off ballroom on the first floor of McCormick Place announced “San Antonio,” Brian Wright didn’t flinch. No clap, no fist bump. Certainly not the two-handed table slam and excited roar his boss, Spurs managing partner Peter Holt, let out after San Antonio’s placard was revealed on ESPN an hour later. In the moment the franchise was changed forever, the Spurs GM was motionless.
