Aaron Judge’s dugout peek continues to be a major topic of conversation around Major League Baseball.
During the first game of the series between the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays, Judge was caught by the Blue Jays’ broadcast peeking towards his dugout before launching a huge home run.
Blue Jays announcers immediately implied there could be something suspicious about the look, which Judge did not take kindly to.
The very next game, Judge demolished a ball into dead center field for another home run. This time, with cameras watching, there was decidedly no peeking.

Manny Machado is not accustomed to being placed on the injured list.
However, that is reality for the Padres third baseman as he landed on the IL with a fractured metacarpal in his left hand on Friday ahead of San Diego’s first tilt of a three-game series against the Red Sox. It marks the first time in more than eight years that the six-time All-Star was placed on the IL.
Machado sustained the injury on Monday in San Diego’s 4–0 loss to the Royals when he was hit by a pitch on his left hand with the bases loaded in the fourth inning.

The attorney representing Matt Araiza’s accuser joined OutKick’s Hot Mic With Hutton & Withrow to discuss the civil case being pursued against the former Buffalo Bills punter.
Attorney Dan Gilleon is representing the woman — identified only as Jane Doe — as civil litigations surrounding a gang rape that allegedly occurred while Araiza was still attending San Diego State University continue.
Araiza appeared on OutKick’s Tomi Lahren Is Fearless on Thursday. He discussed the accusation against him. While Araiza was never criminally charged, the Bills released him last year.

A foreign substance check midway through Friday’s Yankees–Reds game led to an ejection for Reds manager David Bell after he fiercely protested the umpiring crew’s handling of the situation.
With the Yankees leading 1–0 heading into the bottom of the fifth inning, starting pitcher Clarke Schmidt briefly exited the game after meeting with all four umpires on his trot to the mound. Schmidt’s glove and right hand were thoroughly examined before he was instructed to head to the visitor’s dugout to wash his hands.

Hypocritical liberals are VERY upset with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Dodgers recently received criticism, especially from Senator Marco Rubio, after announcing a pride night award to drag group, The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
That group is widely known for dressing up as nuns, with the motto “go and sin some more.”
As Rubio’s letter explained, they also have dressed up as Jesus and Mary and mocked prominent Catholic rituals.

USC athletic director Mike Bohn announced on Friday that he was stepping down from his position, and it looks like there’s more to the story. According to the LA Times, the school hired outside counsel to look into the athletic department.
The news of Bohn stepping down is a surprise, and with the LA Times report, it seems like USC was getting out ahead of potential findings. There hasn’t been any substantial talk of Bohn walking away from the Trojans, given that he recently hired football coach Lincoln Riley and secured the Trojans deal to leave the Pac-12 for the Big Ten.

The NBA could be on the verge of swapping the All-Star game’s current format of a player draft back to a matchup between the Eastern and Western conferences, according to The Athletic’s Mike Vorkunov and Shams Charania.
The news comes after the NBA and the NBPA agreed to discuss the idea of making the annual exhibition game more competitive in recent months as part of the league’s new collective bargaining agreement, per the Athletic. The East vs. West structure is just one of the concepts being discussed, Vorkunov and Charania report.

The Panthers and Hurricanes opened the Eastern Conference finals with a bang on Thursday courtesy of a four-overtime epic that, apparently, left everyone but Wayne Gretzky wanting more.
In a game that lasted roughly six hours, Florida’s eventual 3–2 victory came after the teams extended Game 1 with a scoreless third overtime period. As exhausted and enthused viewers alike prepared for more action, Gretzky let the world know he was ready for the game to end, as the NHL icon and current TNT analyst begged either team to deliver the dagger.
“I’m hoping somebody scores this period.

Joe Quenneville has not been behind an NHL bench since 2021. However, reports suggest that he may soon speak to Commissioner Gary Bettman about a return to the NHL.
Both TSN’s Darren Dreger and The Athletic reported that Bettman plans to meet with Quenneville soon after the season wraps up in a few weeks.

Sources say NHL commissioner Gary Bettman will meet with veteran coach Joel Quenneville as soon as the season ends to review his status.

Quenneville last coached the Florida Panthers from 2019 until 2021.
