With women’s basketball gaining popularity in the United States, two WNBA players – Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier – are bringing a new professional league to the United States called Unrivaled.
The league is going to look similar to Ice Cube’s Big3 league except with female basketball players. Ice Cube reportedly offered WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark a huge sum of money to join the league, which is open to any basketball player. 
However, it doesn’t appear that Clark is going to join the league.

The Louisville police officer who arrested Scottie Scheffler said he has “no ill will” toward the pro golfer for injuries the detective said he suffered while directing traffic after a fatal accident during the PGA Championship.

The RBC Canadian Open has a surprising name atop the leaderboard early, but he barely made it to Hamilton in the first place.
A panicked Sean O’Hair was stranded in Lubbock, Texas, on Tuesday thanks to severe weather delays.
He had just received a call from the PGA Tour, in which an official informed him that he had made it into the RBC Canadian Open field. A few other tour pros had withdrawn, bumping him up the alternate list and eventually into the tournament.

The first-ever SEC edition of the Red River Rivalry game in Dallas, Texas, between Texas and Oklahoma will be on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 3:30 p.m. on ABC or ESPN. Another huge game is also set.

Why the NFL’s new kickoff rule could change the role of kickers
As we noted earlier this offseason, the NFL is implementing a new kickoff rule for the upcoming season. The league’s owners approved a new “XFL-style” approach to kickoffs back in March, which designates a 20-yard “landing zone” before the goal line. Kicks have to land inside this area, otherwise the returning team could start with very advantageous field position.

The Washington Commanders‘ name is not one of the most popular names in the National Football League, and when new owner Josh Harris took over, there were some who hoped that maybe they’d change it again.
However, Harris’ wife, Marjorie, recently said that the Commanders name is here to stay… at least for now.
Mrs. Harris was taking part in a Day of Service around the DC era, and the final stop of the day, according to Commanders Wire, was at a local school.
