Angel Reese has set social media on fire after appearing to take a shot at Caitlin Clark.
Reese and the Chicago Sky beat the New York Liberty 90-81 Thursday, and for some unknown reason, the WNBA rookie decided to hop on X and take a completely unprompted shot at Clark.
The former LSU star tweeted, “and that’s on getting a WIN in a packed area [sic] not just cause of one player on our charter flight. #SKYTOWN.” She later deleted the tweet.

James Franklin has a lot to answer for.
New allegations are looming over the Penn State football team, specifically head coach James Franklin and his involvement in the firing of former director of athletic medicine, Dr. Scott Lynch. Lynch is suing the school for wrongful dismissal, claiming that his job was terminated due to repeated clashes with Franklin for being unwilling to medically clear players before he and his staff believed they had recovered.

Video footage of Scheffler’s arrest finally became public and the PGA Tour fans had a hay day with it as they trolled LMPD.
New footage of Scottie Scheffler’s arrest last Friday surfaced on Thursday morning after the Louisville Metro Police Department held a press conference.
The Louisville Mayor stated that the video would speak for itself. However, it appears to have done the complete opposite. PGA Tour fans saw the footage and immediately noticed differences in the LMPD’s evidence.

Major League Baseball umpires continue their debacle of a season after an absurd ‘interference’ call to end last night’s Orioles vs White Sox game in the bottom of the 9th.
The White Sox’s four-run 9th inning rally was cut short after Andrew Benitendi’s pop out resulted in not one, but two outs after Sox first baseman Andrew Vaughn was also called out for interference while being a runner at second base.

Bryan Gillis, the Louisville Metro Police Detective who arrested Scottie Scheffler for allegedly ignoring traffic signals as he was attempting to turn into the site of last week’s PGA Championship, has quite the disciplinary record.
According to records obtained by The Courier Journal, Detective Gillis was suspended in September 2013 for five days for an incident from the previous December that sounds like a scene straight out of the movie ‘Superbad.’ The records stated that Gillis allegedly did “donuts” with an “intoxicated civilian” in his police vehicle.

Ed Werder is leaving ESPN after 26 years with The Worldwide Leader.
The longtime Dallas Cowboys and NFL reporter announced his departure from the network on Thursday. Werder said he would “immediately begin considering other opportunities.”
“My ESPN career was highlighted by being assigned to cover 20 consecutive Super Bowls and included having my contributions honored at the Pro Football Hall of Fame,” Werder wrote in a post on X.

Well, thanks a lot, Louisville PD – you guys may have broken Scottie Scheffler. It took us YEARS to find a suitable replacement for Tiger Woods, and you guys locked him up and broke him down.
Brutal.
The World No. 1 is going THROUGH it this week at the Charles Schwab Challenge, carding a 74 in Thursday’s opening round and struggling again early this morning.
And by struggling, I mean missing a putt, throwing his stupid club in the air, and cursing the greens in the most polite way possible.
Did prison break Scottie? I don’t know, you tell me.
