Trevor Bauer is not having a lot of success during his first professional baseball season in Japan. The 32-year-old came out firing in his debut but has only gone further downhill in his two starts since.
Bauer, the 2020 NL Cy Young Award winner, plays for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. He signed a one-year deal with the Nippon Professional Baseball league team in March that could be worth up to $4 million with incentives.
As of right now, those incentives are well out of reach.
Bauer’s first start was a success. The crowd was rocking and their star American pitcher was dealing.

All gun owners should be totally against Ja Morant’s foolish and irresponsible behavior with firearms.
The Memphis Grizzlies star is, once again, suspended for a gun incident after he flashed a handgun on an IG Live stream.
At one point of the incident, it appeared Ja Morant had the gun pointed at his own head. How stupid can he be?

Another year, another blown playoff lead for Doc Rivers.
Doc Rivers won an NBA championship with the Boston Celtics back in 2008. The only active head coach who has won more games than him is Gregg Popovich. But at this point, when NBA fans think of Rivers, one of the first things that usually comes to mind is his not-so-storied history of blowing series leads.
Yankees slugger Aaron Judge caused a stir by glancing at his own dugout in the middle of an at-bat Monday, and offered an interesting excuse when asked what he was doing.

Now on his ninth team, Jeff Green is trying again to achieve immortality.
Time, a relentless flat circle, is a construct. But what does this actually mean? It’s a measure of unit, a way for us to order and make sense of what appears to be the linear succession of events, what we think of, and refer to, with our insufficient language, as “existence”, but even this doesn’t quite do our childlike understanding of time justice. Time is relative, depending on what point you may approach it from. We all experience time differently.
After a lengthy-decision making process, the United States men’s national team has added a key piece for its future.

Born in Brooklyn to Nigerian parents, Balogun grew up in London and came up through Arsenal’s academy system.
Heading into his 14th NFL season, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh remains a free agent.
After spending last year with the Eagles, the 36-year-old is unsure of where he’ll play this season.
“I have no desire to be in a training camp,” Suh told NFL Network on Monday morning. “I will come in and watch and look and give some advice, but when Week 1 happens, I’ll be ready.”
Suh skipped training camp last year too, and it worked out just fine.
